    I tried using a refilled cartridge on my new Brother printer, but because of a firmware update it did not recognize the chip on the toner cartridge. So off to Best Buy to get a genuine Brother OEM cartridge. Needless to say it worked. Thanks to Best Buy and their large assortment of printer supplies I was able to get back to work.
