I am not tech saavy so I was so happy to be able tp print directly from my phone. I only use it once a while. I like it very much. Very easy to connect and the printing is decent, especially for the price.

I recently purchased the Brother MFC-J497DW all in one inkjet printer. This is my 2nd Brother MFC printer. Easy to set up and I have used it to printer and scan--very easy to accomplish. I would highly recommend

I have never owned a brother printer so I decided to try this brand. I’ve only bought HP in the past only because that’s the computer model I normally have. I like this printer that I can print on both sides the paper so you can save paper if needed. It prints fairly fast and is clear. The only issue I had was make sure the guides are set correctly because the paper kept getting jammed up first and then I went online and realizedThere are tabs in the paper feeder and if they’re not set correctly the printer will jam.

VERY disappointed with this purchase. Received my printer last week (May 5th 2020). Did not use until I received my new laptop on May 7th. Used it a couple of times to test it out and it seemed okay. Fast forward, not even a week later (May 11th), turned on the printer and it kept saying there was a paper jam. Opened it up every which way, no paper jam. After trying that for about an hour—finally logged on to the Brother website for some possible assistance. After spending 40 dollars to speak to a tech, they both completely stopped responding to me. It took me almost three hours to realize a piece inside the printer is completely destroyed, as if it was melted off. This printer came defective. It has been used less than five times and stored in a cool, safe place. NO way that could have happened from overuse. I am so disappointed in this. I had plans to use this for my at home business during this pandemic and it defeats the whole purpose for me to go to Fedex and have to print what I need. I am so appalled by the lack of customer service I received by Brother and money wasted. Currently in the process of possibly receiving a replacement but after being on hold for two hours and being transferred about four times, Best Buy informed me the product is not in stock. Waiting to see how I can return this huge box during a pandemic since NYC stores are closed. VERY upset.

The unit is light and easy to use. Color cartridges are always expensive but the pic quality is good. This is the 3rd brother printer that I have purchased and they have all been reliable!

I've had this printer about 2 weeks, and i'm amazed at how easy it is to use. I've printed well over 100 pages with it, since i purchased it. No problems at all. bought it for my son`s school work and we love it

I read the reviews and they were both good and bad I decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did! I love it! It’s simple enough, great quality color prints! Easy set up and it has an app! I would recommend it!

Setting up the printer is super easy. It's got wireless printing via wifi. It supports Amazon Alexa which is cool. Will see how long the ink can last. The print quality is nice.

they work great, colors are very vivid and the quality is fantastic. Its a printer, copier, fax, scanner and has great features. Price is very good and its very well built.

Purchased this for my daughter whose a nursing student, she wanted to be able to scan her papers to the computer without scanning one at a time. She really like, and it's cost was low...even the replacement ink.

The Brother printer was easy to set up and prints great. I have been using it about a month and am very pleased with it. I don't use it much but when I do, it works without a problem.

Setup was easy right out of the box. Print quality is amazing! Need to play with the settings a little more and haven't tried thicker paper but id a huge upgrade from my epson workforce that went through ink like crazy.

This is an inexpensive printer with a small footprint. It works well and was easy to setup. It's a great choice for a home computer.

The printer was easy to set up. It has performed well since I started using it. Was a very affordable printer. I have had Brother printers before and they have always been very good.

My wife sold me on Brother. Our house has always had two printers - one for my needs and one for my hers. My opinion of Brother has always been neutral since we both have always had other brands. It became necessary to replace hers. Not interested my replacement input, she decided on a Brother. She had it a few days and sold me on the ease of using the multifunctions. From setup to scanning, every step focused on user ease, availability of functions in the LCD, and high quality performance. Yes, there are faster output printers. However for home use, I quickly trashed my printer and bought this multi-function gem. I'm very satisfied. Now our house has two Brothers.

My first printer (outside of work). I was able to set it up wirelessly. Absolutely no effort on my part. Took about 3 minutes following the onscreen commands. Just make sure to pull the paper tray arms out or the paper will jam.

EASY ACCESS TO PRINT FROM ANYWHERE! FAX, PRINT, SCAN AND COPY FEATURES ARE AWESOME. NOT AN INK GUZZLER. I HAVE YET TO PRINT PICTURES BUT I BROTHER IS ONE OF THE BEST PRINTER BRANDS OUT. MUST BUY

This is a good printer, especially for the money. It works well and the wifi direct printing is useful for just printing something without having to mess with drivers.

This has been the best printer I have ever had. I use it at home. Prints very fast. WiFi very easy to set up. Ink price good. Quiet. Would buy again. I have told other people about this printer. :0)

This is a great little printer for the price. Very easy to assemble plus easy to set up printing from my computer and phone.
