Haven't had this printer for very long but, I have used Brother printers for a long time and they always give good service. They last a long time and are easy to operate. Will continue to use them. Thanks Best Buy for your fast and good service.

I've used a few Brother laser printer all-in-one products before, so this was my first ink jet, and it hasn't disappointed yet. It's easy to setup out of the box and both the hardware and software are executed well. I think it will last a lot longer than my old Epson.

I had dell and cannon printers before but they don’t compare to my brother printer. It was easy to set up and connect to WiFi. I can print from wherever and when ever which is not a luxury I had with my past printers which did not connect to WiFi and broke within a year.

The printed pages look good, the scanner works well, the automatic document feeder is a nice touch although having a way to handle two sided pages would be nice. By the time I had it setup on the wireless network and got back to my desktop, my Win10 desktop had already noticed the new printer and installed it. I have printed less than 100 pages and the "starter" ink tanks are still showing full. The only problem is the weird USB cable connection. The actual B style connector is located deep inside the machine. There are cable paths designed to allow the cable to exit the machine. I have an extra long USB cable that I connected and just leave unplugged so someone that wants to print can bring a laptop over to it and plug in (they could use wireless but I do not want random/kids/kid's friends machines on my wireless network).

Very good product. It is easy to setup. The sheet feeder is very handy when you need it. It can be used for letter and legal sized paper. Remember to remove the staples. The software is easy to setup and use. Good product.

I have not really got to use it except for printing a few papers the planting is quite like I’m happy with it it’s compact it sits right where my old one sits much smaller and does the same thing.

Good product for a great price. Needed one immediately to replace my old brother printer that was 8 years old. This one does everything my old one did. Hope it lasts as long. A little hard to get it communicating with our mac, but over all happy with it.

Extremely easy to print. Paper flow out with no issue. Connect to apple device with no issue. Still new, No complaints yet. Get a warranty for peace of mind with purchases like printers.

When my HP deskjet died I did online research. Then I headed to Best Buy. I need a printer/copier for personal use only. The saleswoman at Best Buy listened to my needs and then suggested the Brother. I had not considered that brand but she convinced me. The set up was a little frustrating at first but I googled my issue and solved it. I have not used the scan or fax features yet - not sure I ever will. I am very happy with this purchase. Hopefully it will be a good workhorse machine and last as long as my last printer did.

Now I can print from my laptop and main computer with ease ! It has been so easy to use . So glad I picked this one. And great price too !!!!

I have purchased several printers, several models of "all-in-one" from various manufacturers. Not one of them worked adequately. Not one. Prices ranged from $ 90 - $ 180. This printer works perfectly! When I click "print", the machine starts printing in 3 secs. Other printers, hesitated from 25 secs to literally near one minute. Serious? Additionally, the other printers would not reliably stay connected to the WiFi connection. Never did figure out why. Odd, because they were each, from other manufacturers. This Brother, has had not one issue, from day one!! So far, I am very pleased with this manufacturer's model....Brother MFC-J497DW.

I researched many wireless printers and this one has them beat. Price is right, ink seems to last a while.. It's not the fastest printer by any means but it works just fine for my kids homework assignments.

When my old printer decided to die on me, I took a chance on this printer. I love it! The quality of print is great, and speed of printing is really quick. I have tried the scan2desktop, and it looks very crisp, and quickly did the scan.

This printer works flawlessly. It spits out printings from my computer and makes copies so easily. I had a printer that was over 10 years old, so this is quite an immense improvement. I am delighted with it.

Great little printer that we got at a really affordable price. Edge to edge photo printing is really cool. Wireless integration into the network was easy and any device with a print button has been able to find it on our netowork.

This works as designed. Low cost ink which is always great. Wifi printing works awesome from all our devices, easy setup. Sometimes hiccups when color ink is low ( even when wanting to only print gray scale). Good value.

I absolutely love this printer. Simple, easy set up. I’m able to air print from my iPhone and MacBook Pro. It also has a paper feed option for scanning. So I’m able to scan several documents at the same time.

Needed to replace a big clunky Canon that always seem to need ink, which is not cheap. Ordered this online at under 80 dollars and delivered it inn two days. It is compact and good on ink. Great Purchase. Would buy again.

Easy to set up for basic functions. Not the most efficient machines without a touch screen and some of the features were not as straight forward as one would like. But good quality for the cost.

got it late in the evening, set up was a breeze. Quick wifi connection. Right away soon i got it printed 15 pages right off the back good quality still have to print color pages
