Although we do not use the Fax function, the printer's other functions are top-notch. Printing is quick and quiet. Ditto for copying. Scanning is much improved over our previous Brother MFC.

Replaced a wired printer with this Brother wireless printer. Setup took a little head scratching but got it working fairly easy. Have not used it much, but really like what I have seen so far.

Good printer for the price. It does what I need for a home printer. My kids are schooling from home right now due to covid-19 so we are printing a lot of school work. Its quiet but kinda slow.

I bought this printer for a friend. It was on sale and was a good deal. My brown printer is a brother and I’ve had it for 10years and never a problem

Very easy to set up WiFi and overall easy to use. I strictly wanted a printer with physical buttons because they have a nicer feel then the budget touch screens. I am able to print from my Mac wirelessly without any issues.

Inexpensive, reliable and reasonable price ink. I don't do a lot of printing so I don't need a fast printer. Print quality is good, but slow. IT must be a popular printer, it's always out of stock in the stores.

This is replacing a large fancy Canon printer that just died. A friend reccomend brother and I'm glad I went with it. Surprisingly fast prints compared to my last one and the print and scan software that comes with it is great and way easier to use.

This printer works great and was very easy to set up and connect to wireless. The ink that comes with this lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend this printer.

This is a pretty good printer. It prints well. I have noticed that sometimes the feeder for the copier/scanner pulls it in slightly crooked.

This is a great low cost printer that does everything it needs to do. The replacement ink is cost effective making this a great all around printer for everyday printing, the photo quality is very good for the price point.

I've owned several Brother MFC units for many years and they've all performed quite well. I keep buying them mainly for the scanning software that comes with them because I'm used to it and because I like being able to scan to PDF with multiple pages, etc. I'm sure others can do that as well but I'm just used to Brother now. Seems to do everything I need quite well except for printing photos, it's only average at that but I don't do that very often. My biggest complaint is that it runs out of ink quite quickly, although Brother ink is less expensive than most others. The process to set up wifi printing is kind of archaic, too.

This is the second product I have tried to purchase and the Canon was user-friendly so, instead, I was directed into getting this product model MFC-J49770W which I been finding a hard time locating ink cartridge

If you don't print often or a lot, this is a great printer for the price. It runs smooth and easy. I have scanned, copied and printed, very easy. Just download the Brothers app to your laptop, phone or tablet and you are good to go.

At $59.99 it is a good printer. It works seamlessly with MAC.The reason why i chose it was because for hp printers i had to use a subscription plan to print, which didn't make any sense

Bought this to scan family photos after my aunt passed away. Was easy to setup to upload directly to a shared Dropbox account... scanned what I could before leaving, simple enough to leave behind for other pics.

Product was great. Printed well. Start up and finish was great. Issue - could not get it connected to my network or individual devices through the wireless feature on my devices. They never found it and could not add it no matter what I tried. Sadly, I had to return it. I want to desperately recommend it to a friend as well. Very upset I could not get it to work…aka…show up so I could connect or it wirelessly!

Good quality printer, just a little slow when printing from a mobile device. Haven't tried printing off from a laptop yet because I don't have one but it's a good printer regardless.
