I purchase this particular model because of the inexpensive ink replacement. It works just okay. There have been many, many paper jams with this printer than I’ve ever experienced with any other printer. I cannot recommend it. You get what you pay for and in this case...I got taken advantage of. I should have stepped up to a better printer. I cannot recommend it to anyone else.

I am still trying to download the printer to my computer so it has been a bit difficult. I am trying to figure out a way to get it downloaded. I can print stuff sometimes but not all the time.

Ink dries very quickly, Its very fast and very cool.

the color quality prints well then my past printers

Works well, but control board is confusing. There are so many buttons to choose from, it takes awhile to get used to. Scans and copies good. I have it connected by WiFi. Got it for a fantastic price at Best Buy, other places wanted almost double the price!!

I replaced my working Epson Workforce printer/copier/scanner due to the size and input method of paper. The brother machine has a much larger paper tray and never feeds the paper crooked as the Epson did often. I am much happier with the Brother and do recommend it!

This printer was a great value. Excellent quality!

its compact machine, the only thing the paper tray seems flimsy. but there are great features on this. I just use to make a copy of something, or just print. Sometimes, the print don't come out right away, so I have to restart the machine, otherwise it is great!!!

Good features. I especially like the option of 2-sided printing. The only thing that is a drawback to me is the size for the space I have, but I knew that when I bought it. The cartridges that came with the printer lasted longer than I expected, since I'm use to XL cartridges.

Works well but I'm a little disappointed with the quality of the color printouts. I wasn't expecting laser print quality but this seems a bit washed out. However, it will serve its purpose as a home office printer.

I bought this printer online in 2018 and it’s still working great, I use it constantly in our home office, and the ink yield is very decent, how ever Best Buy’s shipping is a joke, it even paid extra to have it delivered the next day, only to receive a “delayed “ email, I tried to cancel the order as I knew my local store had the printer in stock, but was told the order could not be cancelled, even though the order had clearly not been shipped yet, forward to 2021 a the shipping service is still as useless as ever, great products to buy at the store, but just skip the online buying .....and the headache

I love all the features this printer has! AirPrint (for iOS users), Google Cloud Print support, 2-sided printing, etc. are all the essentials for the printing needs of 2019. The print/color quality isn't the best I've seen but it does the job for everyday needs!

Overall a good printer.. only problem is it seems to disconnect from my WiFi almost every single time I try to use it.. not sure if it’s the printers problem or my WiFi. So I just have to shut off and turn the router back on for it to connect. Not a big deal!

Switched to an Epson after my previous Brother printer broke down because I couldn’t find a model in the cheap price range. What a mistake. Epson was the worst. Was constantly buying ink cartridges for it. The Brother does what I want - mostly just printing basic stuff and kids’ homework/papers.

I'm somewhat satisfied with this printer. The only downside is the printing speed. It takes almost a minute to print 2 pages and the amount of ink it uses, it makes me think I'm gonna have to buy replacement inks frequently. Not sure yet.

Got this printer to replace an excellent HP that quit on us. Print quality is good, but we cannot copy a simple document and the documentation is terrible. Add to this the fact that if a color cartridge runs out, you cannot easily print in B&W; once the "replace cartridge" warning comes on, you are hosed. You will have to unplug the printer, go back through your Print Dialog to ensure B&W printing, etc. It's a MAJOR hassle. I would not recommend this printer.

Brother printers are absolutely top notch quality! The only concession I have is if one does alot of printing or making copies; the ink cartridges tend to run out quickly. Other than that, I've been pretty pleased with it for years!
