My family has always owned Brother brand printers since I can remember. This model does exactly what I need it to: print. I really love the wireless print feature (the model I had before worked for so many years that it didn’t have this)!

I purchased the Brother's MFC-J497DW printer as a gift ; after rechearching, I liked all of it's features. It was exactly what I was looking for,as an upgrade. It's stingy on ink, has WiFi and air print . Great printer at a great price.

I am very pleased with the performance of this printer.Would not hesitate to recommend this product to others.Great value I got for the money. Couldn't be happier. Definitely would buy again in the future.

Printer was easy to setup and seems pretty good. Printing from an iPhone didn't crop correctly but I'm not sure if that was editing the image from the phone or the printer's fault.

I have been buying Brother printers for years now and this is like all the other ones that I have bought. Very easy to set up instructions, load the ink and paper and start printing. I Highly recommend Brother printers.

The Brother printers have been very reliable. One year warranty... however they offer lifetime phone support. Other manufacturers charge after the one year warranty runs out. Ink is easy to replace. I do wish the cost of ink were less.

This printer is great, performs well, a lot of functionality for the price. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the lack of instructions for setting up Google Cloud Print. Was finally able to get some leads online to figure it out

Easy set up with on screen prompts. We were disappointed in Color quality of pictures. The colors were very muted. Maybe there is a different setting we didn’t see?

The printer works well, but if you do anything more that low quality, the printing goes rather slow. It connected to WiFi easily though and fits our day to day needs.

Good printer for home office. I like how it has separated color cartridges so if one color is out, you can just replace that color. A little bigger than some of the smaller home office printers, but if you have a little extra space, you should be good.

I like the price for this printer, however when you print, the ink is not that pigmented, it’s light. But other than that it’s a good printer!

Good overall basic printer and scanner, and works for light use. But this model is inferior to the MFC-J470DW I bought several years ago. The MAIN difference is the print speed and quality. I figured that the NEWER model would work BETTER than the model it replaced, but that was not the case here. The older model prints twice as fast for color & b&w, and also allows you to pick a lower quality "fast draft" version to save ink on basic print jobs that don't require higher resolution graphics or font. Would most likely not buy again...

I've had the printer for 18 months. It works very well until it stopped recognizing generic ink cartridges from Amazon, after performing a "printer head" cleaning process!

The printer is a solidly built with builtin duplexing ability. Great on ink usage, which is definitely a plus for college students and it has a small footprint. The wifi setup is easy and works flawlessly. I highly recommend this printer for home or school student use.

I love my new labtop plus printer and other things that I bought from you. I have no problems. Looking forward to buy more items from you in the future. And when I do, i want it to be delivered to my apartment.

The printer does an adequate job. It is very slow and I am afraid that it will shut down. Overall, it is good for small print jobs.

Bought this to replace my old HP copier. Haven't had a Brother anything for quite awhile. This unit was easy to set up, has all the functions I need including WIFI and two sided copies. Best part, it was on sale when I purchased it. Also compact enough to fit on my desk.

Good one for home purposes.. connect to bluetooth devices.. only cons is - it takes time to figure out the wifi connectivity. Once setup, good for sometime

Great printer. Especially coming after getting tired of wrestling with my hp to make it print. This thing just works. Easy reliable software and network connection. Print, photo, fax, scan, copy - all for $60!

just bought it recently. I do find it quite noisy when first starting to print but it it's working just fine. haven't had to replace any ink cartridges as yet and I don't have it set for faxing but the copying works well.
