Need a their hub!

Posted .We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the light strip. You are correct for the light strip to be controlled by Alexa you do need a hub. We recommend the On/Off Smart Plug because its two devices in one and it is economically priced as well. You can control the light strip without a hub via the C by GE app.

Decent but faulty

It is a great light but some of the bulbs in my strip went out a few months ago, which is a bummer. I wish I could exchange it for a new one!

Keeps disconnecting from the network

The reset process is absurd and unnecessarily complicated. I got this on a deal and won't reccomend.

Only get red

We download the app and put it on, a beautiful red color. We select green or blue, the lights go dark. We select orange, the vibrant red lights get a softer shade of white. I guess if you like only the color red, its good. but red is "not millions of colors". Completely dissatisfied and have an upset daughter. Hopefully I can return for full refund or replacement that does what is advertised.

Posted .Sclear, we are sorry to hear that the light strip is not working as advertised. We are more than wiling to get any defective item replaced for you. One thing you may want to try is ensure that the flat connecting wire is fully seated properly into the white converter box that the light strip and the power supply connect into. The light strip should only fit into that box one way, and it should easily slide into the slot. If it is difficult to connect or feels like you have to force it in, it is most likely upside-down and that could cause the lights to malfunction.
