Posted .Hi there, our light strip can be cut, as indicated by the dotted lines along the length of the Light Strip. However, doing so will permanently shorten the strip, and this action cannot be undone to regain any length. You would need to download the free C by GE app from either the Google PlayStore or the Apple AppStore, link the light strip to the app and you're up and running. Strip too heavy for how weak the adhesive is.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This thing is bright as hell, and there's a decent amount of color options when linked to Google Home. I did have to look up how to do a hard reset on it to get it to connect because it wasn't in the super simplistic instructions guide. The adhesive wasn't strong enough to stay attached after trying to adhere it to my wall, though. It's so heavy that even trying to use sticky tack or tape to hold it up when the adhesive failed, it still falls down nonstop. Kind of defeats the purpose. Too expensive for low quality in my opinion.

Good for decorating and lightning

Annoying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Why would you spent $70 on a light strip that will not connect to the Google home app as advertised. Spent an hour trying to get them to connect. Ended up removing all of my C by Ge lights from google home and use them in the C by Ge app. Once I finally got everything connected, I was ready to install the lights to my desk to find out that the adhesive is straight up trash. To make this work I now have to go and get double sided tape. Why even bother advertising that it works with Google Home and why even bother putting any adhesive on it at all when you have to get your own anyway? Waste of money and time.
