Not the easiest to set up

If they could make setup easy it would be great, because the 2 that are working are great, but the one ceiling fan I can not is frustrating.!!!!!

If you are usiing the Google Home app, you will only have the option to unlink all of your C by GE lights at once. Meh

It says they have multiple colors but even the app only showed white. They would connect to my Google home or alexa. So they were basically normal lights that I could turn off from an app, I wanted multi colored lights. I ended up returning them.

Posted .Hi there! Thank you for your review. Using any smart bulb in a dimmed socket is never recommended. Since these bulbs already come equipped with their own internal dimmers, using them with an external, non-C by GE dimmer switch, or a three-way lamp may cause serious damage to the electronic components within the bulbs. When this happens, you may notice the bulbs flashing, strobing or even heating up. I returned them and bought a Kasa Smart light bulb, which is very easy to schedule and reset if need be.

Bluetooth light bulbs

It said we needed a hub to hook it up to Alexa. We couldn't find anywhere what a Hub was, where to get it, etc. So it does not work with Alexa. Not useful.

I am sorry about the confusion of linking the C by GE bulbs and Alexa. A C by GE hub is any C by GE device that is not a bulb or a light strip. All of our other devices act as itself and as a hub. The most economical solution is purchasing our SmartPlug.

Poor quality poor experience

In the first 24 hrs I reset the bulbs over 5 times. This made a complete mess of my Google Home app After over an hour with Google support they were reset again and working. 12 hrs later they will not respond with Google app or C by GE ( which they would never connect to the C by GE app) So, another evening resetting light bulbs I could never reccomend investing in these bulbs. Save your money and go spend it on a good time. You will not have a good time with these bulbs.

Posted .Hi there! We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing these issues. Due to Google Home's recent Nest integration we have been seeing quite a few of our "Made for Google" users who have been experiencing these same issues. In most cases, the bulbs either lost power, or were turned off at the light switch and their Google Home device failed to re-establish the Bluetooth connection. Most of the users have found success in simply power cycling the Google Home device (unplugging it and plugging it back in again), or rebooting it from the Google Home app. Please note: This must be done before you try unlinking the bulbs from the app or try factory resetting the bulbs. As far as the bulbs not being discovered by the C by GE app, since they are Bluetooth-enabled bulbs, they can only be paired to one app at a time. They have to be factory reset before they will be discovered by the C by GE app. If you have any questions or any additional concerns, feel free to contact our Customer Support team at 1-844-302-2943 or [email protected].
