    Some really serious issues

    OK. I guess they are cheap enough, depending on when an where you purchase them. I am sorry to be stuck with 16 of them and pretty angry right now. As long as they don't ding out, you are ok. But, when 1 or more stop working,you will spend and waste a chunk of time unlinking and resetting them. It becomes necessary to unlink these bulbs after multiple manual resets leave you sol. You MUST unlink EVERY SINGLE BULB you have setup, it is all or nothing.So, if you have tons of time and nothing better to do go for it. I justed wasted time doing the off on manual reset, to no avail, now must unlink EVERY bulb in my house and re do ( till next time) I am not looking forward to it. Wish I'd have spent more money and had my time back.

      Hi there! Thank you for your review. Please note: When you use the Google Home app, you will have to unlink all bulbs at once whenever you need to remove one bulb.That is a limitation of the Google Home app and is unfortunately out of our control. You can however, connect your bulbs to the C by GE app instead. With the use of a smart bridge device such as one of our smart switches, smart plug, or our C-Reach, you can then link your account to Google Home. This will not only allow you to remove bulbs without having to unlink all of them at once (if you delete them from the C by GE app), but will also limit the number of times that your Google Home drops connection to the bulbs since they will be connected through our app rather than directly to your Google Home device.     I just ordered a four pack of bulbs from Amazon. They came quickly and were very easy to hook up. This was my first purchase toward turning my house into a smart house, if things are this easy then I will have a smart home soon. Thank you definitely 5 star

    Excellent Color Bulb that is Made for Google

    Been waiting for these for a while now and they do not disappoint. Links directly to a Google Home device like the other c by ge bulbs and full color control through voice commands. Better price than Hue and Lifx. If you are a Google Home user, these are great fun.

    Beware of GE "smart" products

    Horrible, horrible, horrible. Connecting them is extremely difficult and if they lose WiFi connection they seem to connect when they want to, not when you do. I have 2 lights the never connected no matter what I did then I came home one day and they were all of the sudden available. I expected more from GE but their smart products need some serious revisions. Their app does not play well with other smart devices in your home, trying to connect the two is a nightmare but has been flawless with other ights.

These lights connect via bluetooth instead of wifi so they only operate and are only functional when within bluetooth range unless utilizing a smart plug for a hub. We do also sell bulbs that are direct connect and connect via wifi if that might work better for you.     They Stopped Working

    I bought a twin pack. The first one worked great out of the box and into the socket. It worked flawlessly with my google home hub for about a day. Then it worked intermittently, and now zilch. Well, not quite, they work fine as a stand alone "dumb" bulb, but that's it and you can get those for $1 at Ikea. I used the other bulb at my friends house and SSDD. The youtube video for resetting the bulbs is downright hilarious (hold on for 6 seconds, off for 2 seconds, on for 8 seconds, off for 3 seconds....) if it were not so insulting. I guess that why they were on sale.

    this bulb doesn't work with alexia unless you buy a hub that requires a 2.4g eifi 5g won't work for hub.
