    The cost of other smart lights kept me from switching but C by GE works well with Google Assistant (less so with HomeKit). I’ve had to fix the WiFi connection already once since owning them but day-to-day they work well and the dimming feature is worth it for an apartment.

    I bought these on a black Friday deal and I didn't read the entire description. I have used other smart bulbs with no problem, but eventually figured out you needed to purchase a bridge to make these work. Not such a great deal after all.

      Hello, onecentrich. The C by GE bulbs only need the C by GE app on a mobile device, using Bluetooth to be able to function. There are other functions available when using a hub/bridge to use with additional devices. Feel free to check additional information on www.cbyge.com.
