Light Bulbs Work Well

Almost a slight yellow like a normal light bulb. If you want a bright white light bulb, this is not it. Know that before you buy it, or try it before you settle.

Ok if using app on your phone

I can only get 1 to pair to google home mini the other blinks and acts like it’s going to pair and never does. I did get 2 to work with the app but only 1 person can control because it is impossible to have on 2 phones. It gets 3 stars for the price of 11.99. They do not get as bright as daylight so these are good for a lamp when you want it completely dim in your room. Good for sensitivity to light.

Smooth Installation

Great Add On for Alexa

Great light

Problem resolved by adding a c by he smart plug and adding everything through the c by he app then adding the app to google home. Lights work great and the dimmable aspect is great

Didn’t work with home kit for me

Perfect lighting

You can set the lights to whatever percentage of lightning. So if you want the lights low but not off just say " Hey Google get light to 45% " and it will set them to whatever you want.

You may need to purchas a hub or controller to make them work. Additional downside is the fact that they don't fit in all light sockets and the app C by GE used to control them is cumbersome and not very intuitive. I found other brands easier to use.

Great when they work

They will occasionally disconnect and to reconnect and set these bulbs up again is a huge pain! It's not a seamless process and I don't know if it's the actual bulb issue or the app issue. Very difficult to pair with Google Home. Great when it works, horrible when it fails to connect.

Add them to the C by GE app first to ensure they get the latest firmware updates. It gives you the option to add them to your Google Home or Alexa app after adding them.

Fun addition to our smart home

We have more success when they are working alone rather than in groups(like a ceiling fan with multiple light bulbs) Also, when we hit the switch on accident, they take time to get back into sync. They will also come on in the case of a power outage which can be quite the surprise when it happens in the bedroom in the middle of the night.

Posted .Hi jmharve2! Thanks for the review and for taking the time to provide your feedback. Unlike other smart lights, our bulbs are "Bluetooth-enabled" rather than Wifi or Zigbee. When you have multiple bulbs, they actually create a Bluetooth wireless mesh network between each other. This feature gives you the ability to install and use our smart bulbs across your home to areas where Bluetooth may be out of range of your phone. This being said, whenever they are completely powered off at the switch, they have to recreate and reconnect that wireless mesh network again once the switch is turned back on again. This can take time depending on the number of bulbs/distance apart they are. Like most smart lights, it is best to always leave the switch on and only use the app or voice commands to control it. As for them turning on during power surges, this is also ecpected behaviour. Whenever the lights lose power, they no longer have the ability to communicate via Bluetooth with the app on your phone or tablet, so they will simply turn on once the power is reconnected again. Nothing like living in a time where I have to remember which of my robot servants can turn which things on and off. Luckily with these bulbs, all of my robot servants can handle the task.

I love these bulbs!

Have a 4th one in the bedroom that keeps me from stumbling around at night. I love the adjustable light levels. Only downside is how long a delay I get with the Google Mini.
