    Love these bulbs!! They work well with the Google Mini and the light they give is perfect whether they are at the maximum lever or dimmed.

    Dimmest bulbs ever

    I cannot understand the other reviews for this product. These bulbs were so dim I can't find a use for them anywhere in my house. I used them with the C by GE app on my phone. Frequently had problems with them connecting. Also had problems turning them on and off with the wall switch- had to flip a few times. I never used the dimming feature, I just wanted to be able to turn them on and off from another room. The first time I used them, I hated how dim they were. Somehow the next night they were even dimmer! Maybe equivalent to a candle! I put the old LEDs back in after that. Just not acceptable at all.

    I have some different brand light bulbs and they disconnect fro the WiFi at times. These GE bulbs have ever done that. They work great.

    Needs a hub to work

    I had purchased these for my sister and her family and when I went to her home to set it up, I was disappointed to learn that they need a hub to work. I can get TP-Link bulbs that work with Google Home and Amazon Alexa without a hub.

      Hi Rolo,

      Thank you for taking the time to review our product. We are sorry that you were unable to set up your C-Life bulbs.

      Our bulbs are "Made for Google," and will actually work with any Google Home device without the need for a hub. You would just need to set them up using the Google Home app rather than the C by GE app. They do however, require a C-Start smart switch, a Sol light, a C by GE Smart Plug, or a C-Reach Smart Bridge to work with Alexa. Unlike TP Link bulbs, our bulbs are bluetooth enabled, not Wifi enabled, so they require a bridge to work over Wifi.
