    Frustrating. If the internet or power goes out for any length of time, there's a good chance you'll have to factory reset these as it messes with them. This doesn't sound so bad until you realize that it is done by a long series of power switch flips, and then still isn't recognized for a bit after (updates?). I don't have nearly as many issues with any other smart device. Two stars because they are substantially cheaper than other bulbs and don't require a hub. Sort of a "you get what you pay for" situation.

    Just tell google to dim your lights, it will, and shut off too

    No issues with installation using Google Home Mini and Google Home app for Android. However, C by GE app is only compatible with Android 9.0, which is useless for me since I am using Android 8.1.

      Hi there! Our app is in fact compatible with Android 8.1. It works with all versions of Android from Android 7.0 and up. If the app is not working for you, it's possible that your phone itself is not compatible not the OS.
