    From day 1 these lights have not worked as intended. They barely connect in their own app, and have constantly stopped communicating with google home. Would not recommend. Even for someone starting out with home automation. If I could give it zero stars I would. I was not informed that I would need a hub. Even with the hub they still disconnect from Google Home

    This product is a pretty decent item. The set up can be a little difficult as I had to try multiple times, but once set up, it's been great.

    I was extremely disappointed and had to return these bulbs for a LIFX bulb. Too complicated for no reason!

    This product worked for the first 30 minutes then stopped. Won’t connect to anything. Waste of money.

    Bought these thinking they would work with my Alexa but turns out you need a bridge for these bulbs so I didn’t get to actually use them.

    Smart bulbs are temperamental to say the least but these have the most user friendly interface and match to google home....ok

    Not sure if it's my Google Home or these bulbs, but I constantly have to reset and re-synchronize on a bi-weekly basis.

    These are great basic smart bulbs. I would recommend getting the phillips hue or other quality setup IF your going with a hole house smart home.

    I have ordered two box which had 4 bulb but only 3 of them worked. Other than that its easy installation.works great.

    Finicky brand, impossible to factory reset

    Most C by GE lights are a hassle to get setup. Also, if someone manually turns off the light (at least when plugged into a lamp) it throws off the sync and the smart automation doesn’t work until it decides it wants to. This has happened across all 4 C by GE standard bulbs and even one of the tunable color lights I’ve purchased as well. Avoid this brand unless it’s a crazy cheap deal.

    We purchased these hoping they would be like the bulbs from Amazon, but alas they were nothing close. It was more a a nightmare trying to get them to pair and work properly. You expect using a smart light bulb would pretty straight forward, similar to a “plug and play” type experience—uhhh, no. Sorry. Returned them.

    Worked as a light but it DID NOT pair with Alexa. Had me download GE app and then add acct through Alexa app but it never worked.

      Hi KingSBH, to use Alexa you would need a C by GE hub such as the Smart Plug.

    I have a smart plug and it was easy to use. The Smart Blub is a little more complicated. Might need to reread the directions.
