    Nice bulb but the app sucks. Need to log in multiple times. voice command doesn't work.

    I bought these to replace my Philips hue bulbs so I didn't need a bridge and wow these were bad. Google home won't connect to the bulbs properly and the C app by GE is trash, doesn't detect the bulbs either. Guess I'm never switching from Philips...

    For some reason it wouldn't connect but I've had that problem with a few products. It may not be the bulbs.

    shows good performance on small homes. For more than medium homes requieres the range extensor sold separately

    Be ready to reset all the time

    I bought two of these c by ge bulbs March 2020 and connectedit to google mini. It was working good. I had a power outage and after which google home could not connect these smart bulbs. I tried all options and after seeing you tube did the reset. Then it worked fine. Again we had power outage. When power was back on it did not connect again with google mini. I have to manually turn it on or do the reset again Why should I reset all the time after power outage? I would have better stayed with normal bulbs instead buying these smart bulbs. I am it sure if I can return to best buy during this pandemic and after 2 weeks of purchase date

    We have to use these bulbs manually as it’s not supported by iPhones yet. But they seem to work well

    Not as easy to connect to Alexa. The bulbs are not as bright as they should be.

    I'm a little disappointed about this because, it's not a daylight. I don't like the yellow light.

      DudskieG, Thank you for taking the time to review our product. Our Soft White aka "C-Life" bulb's color temperature is goign to about 2700K which is on the warmer side of the color spectrum. Daylight is typically about 6500K. If our Soft White bulb is too warm in color, you may be interested in our C-Sleep aka "Tunable White" smart light found here: https://www.cbyge.com/pages/pdp-tunable-white.     Easy to control through Google home. But the range is kind of limited. Indoor no problem.

    They technically work but god forbid they lose the WiFi signal. It’s a pain to reset.

    THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED

    These things are the worst! Took me several days of trial and error just to get them installed for the first time. Now 6 months later, they have not worked properly for even 2 days in a row. I am trying to use them as part of my smart home setup using Google Home. I have about 15 different smart devices in the home (smart plugs from 3 different manufacturers, Nest Thermostat, etc). Everything works as it should EXCEPT THESE STUPID C BY GE BULBS! At this point I'm just going to throw them in the trash. I am so sick of telling google to turn on/off the lights only to hear "Sorry..." every time. I think it may be just that GE has turned into a company that only makes junk. I recently bought a set of solar path lights, and they are garbage too. I took the 800Mah batteries out and replaced with 1650Mah batteries but they still only come on for 30-40 minutes before they die. I swear, no more GE products for me.

    The 2 pack is cheap, very affordable, the problem is with the connection with Google Home App, the App can’t even find the bulb, if you use C by GE app you can control via Bluetooth, but the thing is try to control via WiFi far away home, I tried resetting many time the bulb and still not working with the App, so sad

      Hi there! We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing these issues. Due to Google Home's recent Nest integration we have been seeing quite a few of our "Made for Google" users who have been experiencing these same issues. In most cases, the bulbs either lost power, or were turned off at the light switch and their Google Home device failed to re-establish the Bluetooth connection. Most of the users have found success in simply power cycling the Google Home device (unplugging it and plugging it back in again), or rebooting it from the Google Home app. Please note: This must be done before you try unlinking the bulbs from the app or try factory resetting the bulbs. As far as the bulbs not being discovered by the C by GE app, since they are Bluetooth-enabled bulbs, they can only be paired to one app at a time.
