    I had these bulbs for a night, and the skill for my echo device wasn’t impressive. The skill for GE is rated 2 stars, so just make sure when purchasing make sure you check the skill reviews on your Alexa app before purchasing smart bulbs.

    Don’t waste your money on a CE bulb. It’s a pain to set up and if your power goes off it will have to be reprogrammed. Not worth it stick with Phillips smart bulbs.

    Not good. Not able to join my Google home

    I am unable to join the bulb into my google home. The one that i was able to, keeps on disconnecting from my google home. Hence, i need to re-add multiple times....very frustrating!

    These bulbs would not connect to the app. 50% of my home is running smart devices and these are the worst smart devices I have ever seen. I am returning them.

    Box says it works with Alexa but in fact it only works with Alexa with a smart bridge... so for another $30 bucks it will work with Alexa. Will not buy another GE product!!!!

      It is true that for the bluetooth devices to communicate with Alexa, who communicates via Zigbee/wifi you would need a wifi hub/bridge, however, the on/off smart plug, which almost half the price you mentioned above, does serve as a hub for the bulbs and would allow you to connect to Alexa.

    One day stop connecting to google and haven't worked properly or reconnected since I purchased. Way to expensive for just a light bulb!! NOT SATISIFIED AT ALL!!!!!

    These bulbs have some issues. I had to reset them twice because of software updates. This caused a lot of headaches because I had to reset all of my routines I had set up on these items

    I own close to 20of these bulbs and some have started to not respond to voice commands and can’t be found in the CbyGE app. Attempted to reset them, but that was unsuccessful. Good product, just need to improve support.

    This one should get negative rating. Doesn't sync properly with google mini. If you are using for time based activity, it's unreliable.

    Bluetooth connection works great. But, that is it. I have tried all the resets etc to get them to connect to google home and it won’t recognize them at all. Frustrated that the only remote operation is to do a scene.

      Hi there! Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting your bulbs to your Google Home device. Due to Google Home's last-week system outages, many of our customers have been unable to reconnect their bulbs to their Google Home devices after their Google Home devices suddenly dropped the connection to their bulbs. We are working with Google Home to resolve the issue. right now, they recommend rebooting your Google Home device 1-2 times to resolve the issue. If the issue persists, then try resetting your bulb. To reset your bulbs, first turn them off, wait at least 5 seconds, then turn them on for 8 seconds off for 2 seconds repeatedly until you see the bulb flash. If you need assistance with resetting your bulb, please feel free to call our Support line and we will be happy to count it out with you over the phone. You can call our Customer Support team at 1-844-302-2943.

    I bought 4 bulb light (soft white bulb A19) and they didn’t works with ALEXA. I already installed the App “C by GE” and the skill "C by GE" in the Alexa, all of the lights has been installed and show the message that the light is connected to Alexa with the C by GE; but after installed the bulbs I have been entered in the light control and appers the message: “DEVICE IS UNRESPONSIVE. IF IT’S NO LONGER IN USE, TAP “EDIT”TO DELETE FROM ALEXA APP.” I UNISTALLED AND INSTALLED MANY TIMES BUT IT IS STILL LIKE THAT. I already tried the voice control but even not worked.

      Carlos, We are sorry you are having difficulty with the lights. The error message you are receiving is because the app needs to be refreshed. While on the C by GE app homepage, put your finger in the middle of the screen, pull down slightly and then lift your finger. The app will refresh and the unable to connect banner will go away.     The box and website claims they work with Alexa, but when I got the order in the box only showed working with google. Do research first

    Didnt work well with the Echo dot

    Not good for the Echo dot. Im not sure why it was suggested as a purchase for it. I had to control it from the app all the time. I put the in my lining room lsmps and in my 8 yr old sons room.

    Difficult to run with Alexa

    Best Buy website states this light bulb works with Alexa. Yet when my wife set it up, Alexa had a difficult time reading it. I will be returning it to the store tomorrow.

    Utter crap. Please don't even consider buying these. Received them as part of a package with the google mini so you'd think they work SEAMLESSLY with google. Guess again, they don't. I don't know the number of times I had to delete and re-add them to my account. So much so that I ended up removing them and buying more Feit bulbs. I have had Feit bulbs for quite some time, before I received these, and have NEVER once had any issues. RUN, don't walk, away from these C by GE bulbs.

    Website said it’s compatible with home kit. That is not entirely true. Product needs a hub to work. Could not find a compatible hub.

    I had the hardest time keeping these synced and online with my google home. After 4 resets, which takes quite some time to do, i returned them.

    Worked well for 24 hours and then it would never respond to verbal commands. I always have to go inside the Google app and make adjustments. Its not worth the hassle.

    Horrible Lights

    I purchased these to make my apartment more smart. However, these do not connect with Alexa. The app had the bulbs on there once but then went away. Every time you turn off the light it disconnects from the GE app so you cant ask Alexa to turn it on. I am very disappointed in these bulbs. AND can't even use the GE app to turn them on. I will not be purchasing much more from best buy do to the information that is listed on how they work but then they don't. I would rather shop on amazon. They back their products.
