Posted .Hi cristom2421, it's unfortunate that these bulbs have been unable to connect to your Google Home so far. Resetting the Mini and the bulbs are definitely good steps to take in troubleshooting, and there are a few other things we can try.
First we'll want to make sure that we un-link the "C by GE" service inside the Google Home app by selecting "Add" then "Set up device" then "Have something already set up?" where you can select the "C by GE" service and then "Unlink account."
Following that, power off the bulbs at the switch and unplug all Google Home devices. Then plug 'em back in and turn on the lights at the switch. Everything should be refreshed and ready to set up with the instructions here: https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/9141859?hl=en

Waste of time and money

I have tried several times to get them set up and each time they only stay connected to the app for a few mins, after that Google Home can not connect with them. I have done the factory reset several times and each time I end up with the same issue. After having this issue I did a search online and found this is an long time issue with these bulbs. It does not sound like this issue will be solved anytime soon so I am returning these and buying a better brand.

There is still help that can be done by either reaching out to Google Support about the app (https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/7072407?hl=en&ref_topic=7563191 or 1-844-442-3693) and C by GE (844-302-2943 or [email protected]). Resetting the bulbs does not necessarily fix something happening with the set up/connection.

Led smart bulbs

Not worth the more price

Did not like how they worked.

These bulbs can be annoying!

The only way to fix this is to unpair them and then pair them again. It's a very annoying process to unpair them so you can reset them again. If I have to buy new smart bulbs in the future I will look into another brand because pattern of turning the light off for 2 seconds and on for 8 seconds repeatedly until the light becomes unpaired is a headache!

Terrible set up

The first three in one room synced fine. I move to the next room and the first room becomes unsynced. I spend the rest of the evening chasing down rooms and never get them all to behave at the same time. I would rather run my household on candlelight than use these things.

Worst bulbs

I tried to connect to Alexa and they couldn’t find them no matter what I did. I then bought the google home and it still couldn’t find them and trying to use the c by Ge app to turn them off and on it doesn’t pair right. It’s like having regular light bulbs they don’t work and if they do you have to do a lot to get them to work. It’s not worth it they just don’t work

Good for setting timed lights to come on or off.

You do get more options for use and can control them from outside the home with it, but it's not required. You can download the C By GE app to control these and set everything up. Not sure most people would be willing to pay the price these go for, but they are handy for some situations. I find that using one for a porch light set to come on at the time I get home from my night job is convenient. I also run one in the upstairs hallway and have it set to automatically to dim to 10% brightness at 10:00 PM, which is when my grade school kids have to be in bed. This gives them enough light if they need to get up in the night to go to the bathroom. You can set these from the app and run them to come on or go off at certain times, brightness level and set the days of the week you want. Pretty slick and easy to use.

Worked fine a few months. Now just regular bulbs.

Afterwards they will not be recognized by Google Home. Did reset procedure a few times on all bulbs, and they confirmed with blinking they have reset. After several hours on multiple days googling for help and turning on and off these light bulbs, nothing I can do will allow these to be recognized by Google Home. Now they're just regular LED light bulbs. My Hues still work fine FYI.

Something you can do after you've lost power is to unplug your Google Home and turn off your lights at the switch. Then, plug your Google Home back in and flip your lights back on. If they haven't been disconnected from the Google Home this should allow them to reconnect, if they have, this should allow them to be found again.
