    As a tadpole in the waters of home automation I was looking for something simple to get acclimated. The bulbs are great as they are plug and play and don't require a hub. My current unique living situation hampered most of my attempts to find products that would be a perfect fit yet these are. My wife and daughter love the ease and convenience these grant.

    These bulbs work great with my Google Hub and my android cell phone. Now from bed I can turn all lights on or off or dim them.

    Was pretty easy to hook it up, screw them in, turn on the switch, download the app and follow the instructions to sync with the app and operate using the app but I tried 5-6 times to connect it to the “google home mini” and it would not connect even though it says it will work. Now I have to buy the $49 “bridge” to work or the “google home hub”? Other than that it works well for my father using the app as he has problems with his legs and getting up to turn the light on or off isn’t easy for him.

    We bought this item on Black Friday. Got a good de4al on it and since we own an Alexa TV cube decided to expand her duties. It was easy to hook up, like changing a light bulb. Programming was easy as well. You might want to think through naming each location before you get started. We use coffee bar, kitchen etc for the different areas. Recently expanded to a total of 6 locations and have the C by GE plugs as well.

    These bulbs are really great for the price. Make sure you have really good WiFi range to make sure the bulbs connect with google or whichever voice command device you have properly. If you accidentally use the light switch instead of voice command there is a small lag to reconnect with your device.
