Great to use, Easy to set up

I have an Amazon Dot and it works well with that interface. The App is easy to use but sometimes disconnects while still at the location of the lights. This is NOT a problem with the light but with the app interface.

I was able to get everything set up and linked to my phone within 15 minutes. Super handy and the outlet is great for people who forgot to unplug certain things before leaving home

This product was easy to install using the app. I like that I can not only turn on products using voice command when I’m close by but I can also do so when I’m not home by using the app.

Get what you pay for

I started in the Google Home ecosystem and I couldn't easily get these bulbs registered each time. I could get 3 out of 4 or 1 out of 2 but never all at once. The C by GE app was also a pain. When I left the Google ecosystem of HomeKit I bought a hub to try and use them with. Man that was even more of a problem. I ultimately switched to Philips Hue and those were SUPER EASY to connect. Another issue was firmware updates...they would only happen through the C by GE app but I had to constantly log out of it and log back in just to get it to recognize there was new firmware. That was annoying. If you're new to a smart home and not sure if you want to commit, these are a great price point. If you KNOW you want to commit, I'd recommend other bulbs that have a better record.

Affordable Smart Lights

They also dim and can be brighten up from previous percentage. the only thing you need to have plugged in, in order for lights to be controlled is the Smart plug being provided.

My husband and I love these. It is really nice to set a timer without having a plug in an actual timer. It's also nice to not have to get up to turn out light.

Bulbs & smart plug

I put the bulbs in the lights for him light any other standard light. He was able to set them up smart plug and operate it without my help. What he was hoping it would be

My whole house is lit up with these lights now and I love it. Nothing like climbing into bed THEN turning the lights off. Do yourself a favor and grab some and make your life easier.

Great value entry into smart lighting

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these on sale (with the light strip) for a guest bedroom I wanted to automate with and Alexa show 5. I use the outlet for an aroma therapy diffuser and the lights in the ceiling fan (3) and bedside table (1). Once I set them up through the C by GE app, Alexa was able to add them to the room so that they could be controlled. I didn't need the color option, so the white works great for me. The only issue I have is, if the fan switch for the lights if turned off for a period of time, Alexa forgets they exist and doesn't control them anymore until I add them again (but that may be an Alexa issue). I keep watching for them to hit the deal of the day again as I really like them and would like to add them to a few other rooms for the reduced price.
