    Great price for smart bulbs and smart plug starter kit. It was easy to set up and easy to connect with my Alexa’s. Nice to be able to turn on lights and Christmas tree with just a voice command!

    The deal on these is hard to beat. They work as intended however the app is a little fickle. Doesn't always work with Alexa and I've had to reset one of the bulbs to get it to recognize but with 10 total I don't think that's bad. If you have other hubs make sure its compatible if you want to integrate them.

    The bulbs give a nice light and the brightness can be adjusted. Use it using the GE app partnered with Alexa app to be able to use my dot to turn them off and on. Occasionally the bulbs would disconnect and will not work with voice but I am still able to use the GE app to turn the lights on and off

    These lightbulbs are easy to control using the C by GE app. However, I am having difficulty getting them to connect to my Google assist and the Apple HomeKit. I think I might need to purchase the C Reach to get it to work with my HomeKit, based on what I’ve read so far.

    The plug and bulbs were easy setup. I have combined with Amazon Echo which allow setup up routines for cutting on and off. Occasionally the bulbs are not recognized by either the GE app or Alexia you just have unplug and plug in the GE plug and the problem is solved. I have only needed to once.

    Okay I’m tech savvy. I used to be a computer programmer, but never have I struggled so much to get a product working! To save you time and headache here is how you do it! Do these in exactly this order and you will be fine 1. Download the C by GE app 2. Plug in just the plug IN THE SAME ROOM AS THE ROUTER (this is key at this stage and no where does it say it is required) 3. Add the plug to the C by GE app. If the plug is not discovering on the app hold down the button on the side till the flashing light on the plug turns red and let go and try again. 4. Set it up on the app like you are setting it up wherever you intend to put it (I had mine plugged into the family room outlet but intended to set it up for bedroom so I set it up on the app as bedroom) 5. Once this has completed setup you can unplug the plug and move it to whichever room you intend to use it. 6. Once you have it plugged in where you intend to use it and the red light has gone out (the red light shows it’s not connected yet because of moving it) open the Alexa app add the C by GE skill. 7. This will require you on the Alexa app to login to C by GE using your username and password. 8. Once you have the skill enabled add the plug to the Alexa app and test that it works (I plugged a fan in for testing). Also make sure it is listed as a plug in the app and not a light. 9. Once you have ensured that it is working add your lightbulbs to your light and turn on the switch or lamp they are connect to. Alexa should then auto discover them. 10. If it does not auto discover look up the video to hard reset the bulbs (should have it on the C by GE app) and then it should auto discover them. You should have them working at this point. The rest is just setting up routines. Again if you are telling Alexa to turn on the lights and it’s also turning on whatever is in the plug it has changed the plug designation to a light as well and you can change this by clicking on the plug in the Alexa app and changing It back to a plug. Now that these at working they are great but deducted stars for poor installation instructions. I hope I saved someone else the headache of trying to figure these out.

    I love these. I had no problem connecting to my internet If you have a dual band then try both if you have trouble. I guess I picked the right one the first time. I wasn’t sure. I love that I can tell my google assistant to dim or brighten the bulb. I can turn lights on and off away from home. Have them on when I get home. Turn on and off when I’m in bed or sick or when I get up in the dark I can say, hey google... I found if you do lose a connection for some reason through google to unplug google and plug back in To refresh the connection. Rarely happens. I ran into one problem though. I wanted one in the bathroom and the light cover prevents me from being able to use the bulb as these bulbs are a little longer than normal. You should be fine though with dome type covers and open socket areas. This is like a plate that screws on over the bulbs. Got it on sale and waiting for another one so I can buy another pack. I definitely recommend.

    Extremely easy to use. One of the easiest to set up and I own globe and Wyze products. Connects to Alexa for voice activation. Bulbs are dimming but could be brighter

    These are very good bulbs for the price. They give off an attractive Shade of white that is sufficiently bright for reading but soft and relaxing . They were easy to set up on my Google and it is great to be able to turn various lights off while you are just lying in bed!

    This bundle includes smart plug which allowed all the C by GE smart bulbs in our home to be linked to Google Home via our home wifi network. Without the smart plug in our home, all the C by GE smart bulbs could only be used via bluetooth connection through C by GE application. So the "wifi bridge/hub" function of the smart plug is an excellent feature. The 4 soft white bulbs included in the bundle are standard smart bulbs where the brightness can be controlled but not the color temperature (as the name implies, the color is "soft white" that can't be changed to warm or cool white).

    I got these on sale and decided to try them out. They work well but you have to have the smart plug plugged in for them to work with google or Alexa. I don't use the app that often but they are pretty simple to set up and have worked good.

    Great smart bulbs with a less than great app. Fairly easy to set up with Google and Alexa, although if you have to reset any of the bulbs, it can be a bit painful. I’m hoping further firmware and/or software updates will help.

    Economical way to add smart lighting and control yo home or office. Since I've replaced all my incandescent lamps with LEDs it makes sense to take the extra step and add them to my smart home network. Makes controlling them even easier. Easy to control via most home assistants. Love having the lights come on a sunset without having to be home. If I go to bed early, jus ask Alexa to turn off all lights. Wake up in the middle of the night, my assistant lights the way. The on/off relay plug is great for most appliances or lamps fixtures.

    Great idea, maybe just not achieved optimal product technology yet. Have purchased this for use by my senior father who loves Google Home Mini and Nest products - for safety purposes. Both sets have connecting issues via both GE's newest apple app and via Google Nest. For a younger person, this is not an issue, we roll with technical issues, watch videos to troubleshoot them, but honestly a good product shouldn't need it. Especially something as essential as a light bulb. You want it to come on when you need to see, and turn off when you leave the room or go to sleep. Initially the set-up seems straight forward, and after a couple of attempts you'll feel like you're a master. Then comes the multiple disconnections issues, and the steps for resetting the lights is gruesome. You'll eventually get them working again, and everything seems great, until the middle of the night in an emergency or you just happen to need to see in the dark, when you'll discover that Google Nest and Mini can no longer recognize the lights. If you have more than one Google Nest or Mini, they'll argue that they can't find any connected devices and blame each other. Apparently this issue is known by GE, they rolled out a firmware fix, but that didn't fix it. Google is also aware of the problem, and they are working on a fix at the time of my return. (Owned for less than a week). The solutions provided may resolve the issue temporarily, but these are hardly safe for any room or use by any person who absolutely needs a reliable light product. I recommend these for areas like your basement, garage, closet, similar locations that are within the required 40 feet range that you need basic convenience. Not recommended for critical spaces like a bedroom (Especially a seniors), bathroom, hallway. Repeat: Do not buy this for any place where lighting is critical.

    My kids have gotten me into the whole house animation thing, and it has spoiled me. I have these bulbs throughout my condo, and it makes it very easy for me to turn lights on and off remotely, even when I’m traveling. I also have them set up with routines through Google Home so they turn on and off automatically at different times of the day or night. I like that I can ask Google to soften or brighten the light, as well.

    The lights work good for Google home, but I have difficulties connecting it to Alexis. Alexis said the lights weren't responding a lot. I use the lights for my lamp and ceiling light.

    Great brightness and dimming but there is a connectivity issue with google home. They always work manually but when trying to have google turn the lights on it’s a hit or miss.

    Four pack of smart bulbs and a plug for less than 40 bucks is a good deal, but there’s a slight catch. The bulbs only communicate with the plug, so unless it’s plugged in and turned on, they’re just regular LED bulbs. Also, my Alexa has lost connection to the C by GE skill once already, and I’ve read that’s a very common issue, it’ll take about 10 minutes at least to get it working again, not exactly the most fun in the world but not terrible. Overall it’s a great price, but if you can afford a higher tier of bulbs, you may as well go for those.
