I already have a few smart home devices with different brands, but still decided to try the GE bundle as it offers good value for its cost. Other smart bulb brands require that you have a hub connected to your home network to function as a smart device. The C by GE bulbs use the smart plug as it's hub. I managed to connect the bulbs and plug just fine on Amazon Alexa, and Google Home with no issues. A note for Smarthing hub users: Both the plug and bulbs will not work/recognized by the hub since it does not use the zigbee connection, but instead the devices require a bluetooth connection (a reason why the smartplug is included).

This was a great deal. Works great with Alexa and very simple to set up. With 4 bulbs and a plug, I was able to link 4 room lights and my humidifier with Alexa. Now when I come home and say, "Alexa I'm home." The lights come on.

These are great affordable smart bulbs. Very easy to setup with the C by GE app and I was able to easily integrate these bulbs and smart plug into my google home app and able to turn on / off (and dim) the bulbs and plug by voice.

The "C" by GE is simply awesome. Easy to set up and use.
The one I bought was on sale and came with the plug so I was immediately able to set up and use. I would buy it again, but for sure If it goes on sale again, I'll add more.

These are great adjustable smart bulbs. I use them with Alexa thanks to the included smart plug but you can also using them with google without needing the smart plug. Also the plug is great to have Christmas lights plugged into

Once these are set up, they work really well to control an appliance and have control over your lights. I use the outlet to control a window AC. Its really great to be able to turn the AC on before you get home. The only thing is that it is a bit complicated for the initial set up with Alexa, but after that it works well.

This is a test an inexpensive way to get into building your smart home. Bulbs are reliable and have great brightness. The plug has so many adaptations and bonus it works as the bridge to the wifi for the bulbs

Enjoy them thoroughly, when they are online. Just seem to randomly be offline, without any apparent reason. I usually have to turn light switch off and then back off to reset. That is an issue when you need to remotely control them. Have not used the smart plug, only the bulbs, so no rating on it.

The bulbs work great , although I had to reset them all straight out of the box . The C by GE app would no connect to them at all so I just used my Google home app. The plug on the other hand totally makes me MAD. I followed the instructions word for word. Plug everything in, download the C by GE app. And connect the if first...... Tried like ten times and was always prompted to reset it, And so I did. Even my Google home app recognized it existed but refuses to connect to it . Completely useless item other than as an on off button. And I could only get the C by GE app to pick up one bulb. Finally I gave up and just hooked the bulbs up threw my Google Home app . I say.... Buy the bulbs, skip this plug completely.

I use these in a couple lamps in the house that are not easy to access to manually turn on. They are super easy to install - I have them controlled through my Google Nest and Google home app. You can tell them to adjust their brightness. My only complaint is that the light is more yellow than I prefer.

I still don't know what took me so long to get on the Smart bulb train. They really are amazing and make life so easy. And you can dim them to whatever percentage you want! Game Changer for bedroom lamps.

The set up with app took less than five minutes. I particularly like the “scene” setting, in which you can group your smart products for specific events (such as going to bed, or leaving the house).

While I do love these I’m constantly redirecting & resetting these lights. I have many of these lights & it’s a chore at times. If my electric zapped out for 10 seconds or the WiFi zapps out a second I’m having to figure out the PW & trying to get it to work. When it works, it works great!

Easy to setup with google home mini. The light bulb it self looks good but after 6 moths of use 1 out of 3 had connectivity issues. It constantly needs reset. For this price such reliability is certainly unexpected.

The bulbs are very bright and I like how they can be dimmed. The app is okay, but the Google Home integration is not. Every few months, I have to reset the bulbs to get them to work via Google Home. But considering how they are some of the cheapest smart bulbs, I can't complain too much.

It is a great product and fun gadget to have. I love the option of being lazy and have Alexa turn off/on the light for me. Too bad I had to return it, due to the package being damaged and two out of 4 light bulbs not working. Don’t think it was a true new item, but a open box sold as new.

Best value for money smart bulbs. Nothing fancy in them - very basic bulbs. There are a lot of firmware updates last year that you need to do via the app and it is a hit or miss - sometimes works and sometimes does not.

I use these for lights on a ceiling fan. The nice thing is that I can turn on one light at a time if I want, instead of all of them. One problem is that if there is a power outtage, they all come on when the power come back.
