    The C by GE - Soft White A-19 bulbs and smart plug are worthless. They will only sometimes work with the C by GE app and will not work at all with Alexa. I only purchased them to use with Alexa.

    These came free with our google hub but they don’t work great when compared to the tp link products I also purchased. Hard time connecting and staying connected to our network while everything else worked perfectly

    Disconnects Frequently

    I could install the C by GE app and control the bulb and the smart plug and connect via Google Assistant too. But they frequently disconnected from the app within minutes and I had to refresh the app settings every time to reconnect. Returned to the store.

    Philips Hue is better

    App often did not respond with lights and had to reset and start over. But the bullet and just went with philips hue. It’s been a couple months and should have just spent the extra money anyways. Costco has great deals on philips hue

    These are great lights when they work. But for me not so much. We could only get 2 of the 4 to actually pair with the app and work. We had to return them after trying for an hour to make them work to no luck

    I ended up returning it because the plug in would not connect to the WiFi. In order for the light bulbs to work properly, the plugin needs to work because it acts as a hub for them.

    they do seem to work fine as just a regular light bulb to manually turn it on and off but I had real problems getting it to connect to my internet so I could use my Alexa on it it was never able to link up

    I returned these because I could not it to connect. I read other reviews that stated the same thing. I purchased the Philips Hue brand but have yet to install them.

    Total waste of money and time. Had to download extra apps and sign up to their site to use. Still did not work with alexa. App would turn bulb off and on once then disconnect.

    After a month it started disconnecting. It’s annoying because you have to restart over and over. Then after 3 months it broke! Don’t buy this stuff!!! It’s garbage!

    They bulbs started off great but after two weeks they lost connection with my google mini and will not reconnect even after multiple resets. The app also freezes and disconnects me from the lights at random.

    The plug works fine with Alexa but the bulbs d not work. I tried support from Amazon and C by GE. Each blamed the other. This was some time ago. Maybe C by GE fixed the problem

    Tried to plug these in and get it working but could only use it locally from my phone and the plug would not connect with Alexa. Not impressed overall.

      Hi Mesateach, we're sorry you've had such a frustrating time so far. When connecting the devices to Alexa you'll want to make sure all bulbs and the plug are in the C by GE app first. Then you'll enable the C by GE Smart Home Skill in the Alexa app which will then sync your devices over. If you'd like, we'd be happy to walk you through this.     Purchased these for my daughter's house and found the process of installing these items quite frustrating. I have a reasonable amount of experience installing smart devices, mainly Eufy and kasa at my house, with Google home and these get products are horribly buggy. I had to reinstall multiple times and even the reset process is painful. Spend your money on a different product and avoid c by GE. I own GE shares and it pains me to write this review.

    Too late to return or I would. You HAVE to install these together, and cannot add to google without the plug basically in the same room. Unhappy and will not buy again.

    Need option for zero stars. Followed setup instructions exact. Worked for 1 week. Then switch would not work. Then bulb will not work. When I say “will not work” I mean Alexa cannot find the device anymore. In the C by GE app the plug and bulbs constantly disconnect and reconnect. I have solid home network and alexa and hue bulbs have worked for over a year and not one issue. Returning this and will stay away from C by GE for alexa.
