Would't work with Cable box
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to work with LG TV, Vizio Soundbar, Apple TV, Panasonic BluRay, and Cincinnati Bell cable box. It was relatively easy to install but the only device it really recognized was the Apple TV and partially the LG TV. It never worked with the cable box even after the manual set up procedure of pressing buttons for it to learn. I emailed their support who essentially suggested reinstalling and using their IR blasters very close to the cable box. I did this but it never worked. Apparently, there are relatively few devices that it has been certified to work with. I returned the unit.

Perfect for my application!

I had a receiver that didn't speak 4K so This was my perfect solution. Turn on an input device (blu-ray or AppleTV etc.) and the TV turns on and switches automatically to the correct device/input. Also works GREAT with my Sonos Amp feeding KEF 301 speakers

If you can disable the copyright feature let's say for an example on a PS4 then you'll enjoy the hub. Most normal devices like TV boxes and non game consoles will work.

Instead it became nothing more than a glorified hdmi switch. I change the batteries in the remote control almost monthly because the buttons are so sensitive that it thinks buttons are being pushed even when the remote is sitting on a table.

Cool system - but not for us

I wanted an option to control a new sound bar on our tv. I think the Caavo is for people who have multiple devices to control - not us! We returned this to Best Buy & cancelled the Caavo service with no issues. I bought a OneForAll Universal Remote, which I love & does what I wanted at a much lower cost!

Great product, though IFTTT is hit and miss

Allows for only one cable to go to TV which is immensely helpful for wire management. However, I'd love to utilize IFTTT to have Caavo turn my TV led lights on and off with caavo turning on and off. It's possible it's my network configuration, but this rarely works. Otherwise, great product.
