I wasnt going to get this game hunting really isnt my thing but I love shooting games and when bestbuy was doing the buy 2 get 1 free deal i decided to take a chance and buy this game. I am so glad i did. This game was a lot of fun. At first i was a bit upset because i could not get the topshot gun to calibrate with my 55" tv. searching all over the internet nobody could figure out how to get the gun to calibrate but I finally did. You need to put some games or a box under the sencor bar to raise it up so that it sits even with the bottom of the TV screen. Than i set the dead zone as big as i could because it seamed to give me the best accuracy. The gun calibrates great and started playing. The story mode is a lot of fun but can be very hard at times. Just keep moving. The controls are a bit hard to get use to but after a wile you do get use to it. This game has it all for a shoot to kill game and can scare the bejesus out of you at times lol. From ducks to bears to crazy monkeys you will need to kill to survive.

This game was bought for my boyfriend who does not really like games but this one is one that he can not get enough of, all of us gather around the TV and play for hours. Each level is different filled with action pack adventures. We love how you travel around the world hunting big game and earning points and medals for getting the BIG GAME. The graphics are great, life like and the gun is just like a real gun too. Each level is gets more difficult and the fun never ends. This game is much more than we expected and we really enjoy it daily. Can't wait until they make another gun for more us to play at once, which I hope it will be soon. Keep creating games like this and more adults will continue to buy them. Also create another game like this to continue the fun would be great.

    Great game, Lousy Gun

The new Cabelas 2011 Dangerous Hunts is a great game with a good story line and a very entertaining gallery hunting mode. The story mode departs from earlier versions of game and tries to be more of a “choose your adventure” game. If you are looking for a pure hunting game this probably isn't the one for you. I bought the game in combination with the top shot elite gun and as pleased as I am with the game, I'm equally as frustrated with the gun. It's hard to calibrate and after 5 days of use the trigger sticks to the point that it's unusable. I'm going to try and exchange it for a Move system. If you have the Move system already just buy the game. Also it's a really tough game to play with the standard controller.

I was skeptical about buying this becuase I didn't know how the peripheral would work in a small space. My basement only allows about 6 feet from my 42" tv... It works great. The game play does have some challenging levels that can get frustrating, but I beat it after a week or two of playing here and there. Stood the real test when the family came to visit and everyone played and had a good time!

    Gun tracking horrible

I was very excited to get this game with the top shot elite gun. When it arrived I set it up and tried to calibrate the gun. Right off though there were issues in properly calibrating the gun. I would place the sensor bar under the TV and the aim would track too low. Place the sensor bar above the TV and the aim would track too high. The only way that you can aim properly is to have the sensor bar in the middle of the TV which you can't do either. This is something that needs to be fixed with the interface between the hardware and software of the game. Other than the tracking issues though, I love the game itself. It has great graphics and is plenty challenging. The shooting galleries are a lot of fun for my family.

I was looking for other games compatible with this controler but after reading some reviews decided I needed to add one. This worked great out of the box without calibrating it. I just set the bar on the stand with the TV. I have a 72" DLP so big screens do not seem to be the issue. Maybe I just got a good one but I am very happy with it. The game takes seom practice but my 12-year old and I love it. Of course he is a decent shot with a real rifle as well.

Lots of fun, but you need a lot of room to play. I find the accuracy isn't as good as I think it could be, but it's still a ton of fun.

Bought this for my 12 year-old. It is so difficult that he seldom plays it. The "gun controller" is very sensitive to movement. So far he's had better luck using the dusalshock controller instead to play it.

This would be a perfect game if it had advance levels (easy - hard) to begin with because you got to be a pro to reach your destiny. The competition hunt is good for starters, but you must be careful when loading the Top Elite Shot Peripheral because it get jammed or stuck, it's not built for rough handling. I find it better to use my PS3 controller instead.

If you have a 50 inch or bigger maybe even in the 40 Inc sizes this gun will not clobrate and u can't use the tres scope. Just get the game by it self and use the move. Sensor bar want to be on the middle of my tv.

I had the game and put the batteries into the rifle and I put the usb part into the PS3 slot and the game never worked correclty right off the bat. I was not able to get the darn game to calibrate or nothing. The usb part was broke right out of the book.
