What Qualifies?

Your product may be eligible for price matching if it is:

Identical to the competitor's product.

The product must be a matching brand, model number and color to qualify.

Immediately available at a qualifying online retailer, or a local competitor.

We match local retail competitors (including their online prices) and these qualifying online retailers: Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, and TigerDirect.com.

Not shown on our exclusions list.

Exclusions apply including, but not limited to, contract mobile phones sold by any online retailer, competitors’ service prices, special daily or hourly sales, and items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Choose How You Want to Price Match

In Store

FIND IT. SHOW A BEST BUY ASSOCIATE.

Find a Qualifying Product

Make sure the product you would like to price match is identical to our competitor's product (it must be a matching brand with identical model number and color). BestBuy.com orders are available for price matching by chat or phone. Please refer to our Online section for details.

Show an Associate in Store

Visit any Best Buy store and present the qualifying competitor's ad or website, with the lower price that is still in effect, to any of our Associates. Best Buy will then review and verify the price match request on a Best Buy device.

Price Match Guarantee Policy Details

We won't be beat on price.

We'll match the product prices of key online and local competitors.

Special considerations:

  • At the time of sale, we price match all local retail competitors (including their online prices) and we price match products shipped from and sold by these major online retailers: Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, and TigerDirect.com.
  • We match BestBuy.com prices on in-store purchases and in-store prices on BestBuy.com purchases.
  • If we lower our in-store or online price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request.
  • Our Price Match Guarantee covers new items (excludes clearance and open-box items). One price match per identical item, per customer, at the current pre-tax price available to all customers is allowed.

Our Price Match Guarantee does not cover:

  • The online prices of retailers not listed in the Special Considerations section.
  • Contract cell phones sold by any online retailer.
  • Products shipped from or sold by third-party sellers on websites.
  • Pricing only available to select groups of customers including loyalty offers, discounts relating to non-warehouse membership programs and government exchange store offers.
  • Transactions from Best Buy Education, Best Buy For Business and from a Best Buy Marketplace store on a third-party website (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Google).
  • Competitor offers including service prices (delivery and installation charges), pre-order offers, trade-in offers, and special daily or hourly sales.
  • Any financing offers, bundle offers, items included in bundle offers, free items, pricing errors, mail-in offers, coupon offers, items that are advertised as limited quantity, out of stock items, clearance items, open-box items, refurbished items, pre-owned items, credit card offers, gift card offers, items included in gift card offers, rent/lease to own items, Point of Sale Activation cards, video game discounts related to a membership program, voice-only deals, and items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving, whether offered by Best Buy or a competitor.
