    This is my 1st “double oven” and I absolutely love it. User friendly, cooks great, buttons and knobs work with ease. Couldn’t be happier with this product

    This review is not about the oven/microwave itself but the purchase experience with best buy. I ordered Café - 30" Built-In Electric Convection Wall Oven on Aug 31st 2021 and was given delivery date of Nov 16th 2021 (2 and half month after order). Well, it was a long wait but we decided to wait. On Nov 15, got a call from Best buy to clean up the kitchen so installers can install on Nov 16th. Got an email on Nov 16th 2021 that the installation was cancelled and I was asked to call to reschedule. Guess what! Next appointment on Feb 16th 2022 (6 months from order date). Few concerns: 1. I should have been told about the 6 months wait time at the time of order 2. If 6 months wait time was unknown at the time of order, I should have been informed about further delays as soon Best buy learned about it (it is absolutely not acceptable to get a call a day before confirming appointment and then get an email canceling the appointment on the day of appointment) Café - 30" Built-In Electric Convection Wall Oven may be good oven but the GE appliance purchase experience at Best buy is worst.

    The product arrived broken. The oven didn’t work. The rating is more related to the service. Install tech called the night it was installed to order a replacement, apparently Best Buy is contracting support out of Vietnam and they don’t seem to want to help. They never placed the order, had to in store and have them do it, then waited another month for the item.

    this is the worst moment with Best Buy . they dont delivery. they delay 4 months my products. and no one have responsibility for anything in this company, bad choice to buy in best buy .for sure.

    Product took a long time to arrive and just for the oven not to work. Getting the run around with GE to get the issue fixed.

    Came out faulty out of the box. The microwave makes a continuous beeping sound when the door is closed. Once I close the door the beeping sound goes away. No I am waiting for best buy to replace it.

    Microwave is not very good. Sometimes have to heat up again b/c it wasn’t warmed enough the first time around

    Help with Venting!

    This unit vents into the kitchen causing a lot of heat inside. I have asked if there was outside venting, and they said "it is not required". That was a nothing answer. I still do not know how to get the heat out of the kkkkkitched, and vent it properlllly.

      Wall ovens don't have the option to vent to the outside, there is an internal vent on them. Therefore, they don't vent to the outdoors, but vent within the room. cafe_appliances

    PLEASE GO BUY A Kitchenaid KOCE500ESS. That's what I had before this and it was 1000x better than this garbage. Unfortunately, I bought a new home that came with the GE Cafe garbage in it and now I'm stuck with it... 1. It takes almost 40 minutes for the Upper "convection" oven to preheat. And GE says that’s NORMAL. My kitchenaid took less than 10 minutes for the same temperature. Clearing their heating element is poorly designed. 2. It takes forever to cook anything in this thing in general, the kitchenaid was at least 2-3x faster depending on the mode you’re using. 3. The tech that came out to “fix” it couldn’t even plug in his diagnostic tool because it crashed his computer, so they can’t update or test anything. 4. When you go to the oven information menu, it won’t display the model or serial number, it just says “unavailable” so something else is clearly wrong with it. 5. Sometimes you press start and the light comes on but it won’t heat up, and you have to keep opening and closing the door and restarting it until it finally works again GE won’t do anything to fix or replace it. I just wish I could get my money back to buy a kitchenaid… Don’t make the mistake of buying this thing unless you want to wait for your food to still be cold after waiting forever.
