||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never really liked this offshoot of games. COD was awesome b'c of the realism. to veer off into the future has been disappointed to me. That said, I can see the able.

Same old CoD but with just enough extra.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Classic 'Call of Duty' with a dash of Halo: Reach and a pinch of Titanfall. First off: the classic Call of Duty fans should know that this game does include a 'classic' playlist online which excludes any of the new exo abilities, that being said, I think this game keeps a nice balance of old and new to keep a good median of the fans pleased. Like any other Call of Duty game, yes, it does feel like that same thing that we get year after year with not a lot of new things being brought to the table. The game does bring the use of the 'exo suits' in which give the game that feeling of Titanfall pilot play being able to double jump and turn invisible. At first the gun selection felt very weak, but once you realize that you earn different and better variations of each gun as you progress adds a new sense of accomplishment and loot. Other than the addition of the exo suits (which give you the ability to double jump, hover, and a number of other futuristic abilities) it really is the same old Call of Duty. The fact that they brought back my personally loved 'Infection' mode was a huge plus being it's been absent since Modern Warfare 3. I think most multiplayer fans will be happy since they have playlists to suit just about everyone's wants, plus it brings back the fun of custom emblems that I know I missed the most when Ghosts was launched. As far as the story goes, I can say this is the first campaign in the Call of Duty series that I got into really easily and I think it really is mostly because of the character they built for Kevin Spacey. It really does have the same linear missions that they always have been, but Spacey does bring that cinematic feel to it that makes it feel like something other than the same old predicable story lines these games have always been. In all; the game is what it is, just another entry in the Call of Duty lineup that will never end, but it did change it up enough from those before it to make it fun again without feeling like you are just playing the same game from last year. These games always lack real variety, but really, when all you are doing is: spawning, shooting, dying and repeating there isn't a lot of variety to be had but at least it's different enough from those before it that it does make it fun again. I know for a lot of people these games are guilty pleasures because you don't want people to know that all you do is play the same 8 maps over and over killing mouthy 12 year old boys, well, this latest entry really is guilty pleasure worth even though not a lot has really changed over the span of the past 5 entries. So, a hit in points because it's the same old thing, but still a high score for bringing future to the table without making it a 'Halo' game with spaceships, lasers and aliens... oh wait, they do have lasers. What most people need to understand is that it's not the game itself that makes the online play for most people enjoyable, but more the people playing it who take the time to find ways to exploit and even cheat by controlling your spawn points and camping them out; those people will always be around to ruin the fun of those that are just playing to have a good time.

Call of Duty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was a little let down due to the futuristic/space style. I preferred the older versions that were more lifelike. Mainly the same game just some minor tweeks.

Just another COD game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.some new additions to the gameplay, but nothing mind blowing. You already know what to expect when buying a COD game.

Tired of futuristic games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As seems to be the new trend, this obviously has futuristic weapons and equipment. Not very realistic. You have to pay $40 to play zombies. Done with COD.

COD...again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game, as always lacks originality, and leaches off recycled programming (Destiny). When will we get a truly NEW call of duty! BS!

Short campaign
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The campaign mode is relatively short cut scenes are way to long and detract from game play, haven't yet played online

Typical COD, and that's a good thing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great cinematic experience, as is typical of COD games. If you like the series then definitely pick this one up.

Good story but short.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm more of a campaign gamer than an online gamer. Story lines in COD are usually short so nothing new there.

It’s fine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played it twice because I wanted to relive middle school. Since then I forgot about the game, but Best Buy messages me once a week about writing a review so I hope after this I’ll be left alone. 2/5 doesn’t come with zombies and the stock content is pretty bad
