Better than Ghost but not as good as Black Ops

Remember Call of Duty Ghosts? Who doesnt? It's difficult to forget a game that rivals E.T for the title of "worst game ever" but Advance Warfare is not a game like it's previous, more disappointing, older brother. We set the scene in the not so far future. Republican Kevin Spacey has managed to find the fountain of youth and thus worked his way up to CEO of top private military in the world. Keep this in mind as I introduce our next character, whom you will be controlling for most of the game. Switch scenes to your generic Caucasian young male adult and his best friend. You are part of the USMC and you get sent out on a mission together to North Korea. Why would anyone want to go there is beyond me but needless to say, business was taken care. For reasons that I shall not spoil (the friend dies, duh), the friend and main character are no longer partners and you end up with not as many limbs as you once had. Tired, hungry, and beaten, your Superior Officer drags you from behind enemy lines, back to your super fancy airship. Fast forward to your friend's funeral (I told you he died) and here comes the ageless Kevin Spacey and (plot twist) your friend was HIS SON!!!!!!! Angry as one father can be, he comes to you and tries to recruit you to the company that he has built, all while demeaning the effectiveness of the government's military in the game to someone that resembles an old Eddie Murphy. Fast forward some more and you end up joining up with your new team under Kevin Spacey's mercenaries called "ATLAS". It is at this point that you will want to switch over to multiplayer, if you already havent.

Welcome back COD!! What a breath of fresh air for the franchise after the past few games. COD Advanced warfare is one of the best COd games to date. The gameplay is superb, the graphics are a sight to behold, and even the story is interesting this time around. The Exo suits are a welcome addition to the game and add a whole different dynamic to the stale gameplay of the past few games!! Go get it!!

My impatient son had me buy the used game because our local store didn't have a new game in stock. Got it home and it didn't work, so had to return and order a new copy of the game!

If you've ever played a Call of Duty game then you know what to expect. This one fairs a little better than some of the previous games, but it is essentially more of the same. If you like the series then you'll like this one too. Best part is definitely EXO Zombies. Loads of fun with friends.

A lot of people were telling me that this game would be a disappointment. It truly wasn't. The missions were fun and not at all easy. The different weapons and gadgets that came with this game were great. Now that the Zombie DLC is out it makes it even more fun.

    Good, but not great

I feel like call of duty will never make another call of duty with the same powerful killstreaks from MW2 or the blood and core from WaW, but the new exo suits did make the game more fast paced and added a new touch to the call of duty franchise, but it really seemed like an upgrade of titanfall (minus the titans of course) mashed up with the original ideas of call of duty. The campaign was fun and very similar to the recent call of duty campaigns. Lastly, I'm thankful that exo zombies was a bust because I was dissapointed that Activision didn't include the game mode on the disc and required you to buy their dlc in order to play it.

Very fun campaign. The use of Kevin Spacey makes it very memorable. The multiplayer is also a step in the right direction. The matchmaking process is quick and painless.

Usual Call of Duty now with...

exo suits! This is pretty much your basic call of duty now with people jumping all over the place. It is pretty fun unless you run into a person in your lobby who ends up on a really high roof that they exploited a glitch with. Also they have an exo-zombies mode in which you try your best to last against endless hordes of zombies and well we all expected only Trey-Arc to do this. I wonder why Sledge-hammer did zombies as well. Oh well everyone loves zombies.

    Great Game, Takes adjustment period

This game is slightly different than the other COD games. The movement and speed of the game takes an adjustment period. Once you get used to people flying up and around super fast the game gets fun. Plan ahead with your Exo abilities and customize your loadout to your play style. Running the campaign is a good way to get adjusted to the new Exo abilities. I really like the firing range to test out all the new guns also. Change is good and I think this was a good way to shake up the franchise a bit.

Been playing COD for a while. Was pretty fed up with them. Same thing over and over every year. Advanced Warfare was honestly my last attempt. I'm glad I gave it one more try, because they made allot of changes in this one for the better. I'm not fully back on the COD band wagon, but this one was great, and good enough that I will give next years COD a try as well.

Love the game have everyone in the series. Tons of options while playing and the storyline is great. This game sort of takes you into the future of war games. I can only imagine the equipment used in this game will soon become a reality in the real world. If you like shooter games as much as I do you will need to buy this one. It just gets better and better.

    Awesome campaign, future is BUNK

I've been an avid fan of the Call of Duty series since the very first one when it arrived on PC. I've followed all of them, from modern warfare to black ops II. I was a prominent player sweeping tournaments left and right on the elite tournament system on the original xbox 360. I was excited for this game, hoping to get back into my original stomping ground, but I was in for a huge surprise. It's an interesting concept, but if I wanted to run on walls and double jump, I would just play TItanfall, which was MADE for that kind of gameplay. Call of duty has gone too far with the future and it is BUNK. The campaign is AMAZING though, and it was worth purchasing just for the solo play.

If you are subject to temper-tantrums this game is not for you; at least not online anyways. If you like fast paced multiplayer gameplay with a campaign that must be experienced buy this game. It's an action movie and you are the star. The graphics alone are worth playing for, so is Kevin Spacey. The fun is both in the basic first person shooter structure and the new fangled equipment you have to play with. This game is a very good play for casual players to hardcore obsessive FPS fans. This is a game that anyone with an Xbox One should have in their games list.

The latest iteration of CoD is so much better than Cod:Ghosts. Awesome new addition in the shape of Exo-Skeleton armor and some amazing new weaponry. Graphics are top notch too. Kevin Spacey puts in a riveting performance.
