I only play multiplayer online and Black Ops 2 took some getting used too. Graphics look a bit cheesy and there is a big difference in the amount of hit markers you need in order to get kills on this game. You probably need about 5-10 hit markers to kill someone on the other team. The assault rifles are not as effective. SMG's are probably the best guns on this game. Learn the maps quick and expect to play against people who still camp and use shotguns because of their lack of skills. One last good thing though is that you can add 3 attachments to weapons and their are some new kill streaks.

Is very engaging and even more so when playing online with friends, however the language is very R rated and is detracting from the actual game strategy itself.

I am already on my 3rd prestige and if it wasnt for my friends i would have stopped playing this game. It takes 2-3 bullets on the head to get a headshot and about 4-5 on the body to expire them. However, there are some people that get a headshot with just one bullet and a body with 2 bullets. It happens to me from time to time as well but not everytime. And also i have gotten expired where he is shooting on my abs and he gets a headshot while im shooting on his head and dont get a headshot lmao. I watch every replay when i get expired and let me tell you 6/10 times i get expired is bologny. They need to fix that TODAY!. And also the respawning is ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!. I get 20 kill streak and all of a sudden somebody respawns right next to me and takes me out. On top of all that, these perks dont keep you safe from the radar at all. Like i said im on my 3rd prestige and ive unlocked EVERYTHING. I hope treyarch fixes the respawns and bullet hits otherwise people will stop buying the game. Maybe even not prestige like they did not in modern warefare 3. Right now all my friends did not prestige because of this bogus and everyone is hoping that treyarch will soon fix these problems. AND ARE YOU KIDDING ME "INNAPROPRIATE LANGUAGE?" I HAD TO REVISE ALMOST ALL MY WORDS JUST BECAUSE IT WOULDNT LET ME SUBMIT WITH THE INAPPROPRIATE WORDS LMAO. WAY TO FUNNY

I don't even know where to begin with this atrocity of a game. I know know that the marketing of the game is the only thing that got treyarch the sales they have! This is by far the absolute worst COD ever released. The epitome of great idea, poor follow through! I've played every COD since 4, I've played pro tournament's through Gamebattles and just about any other competitive gaming website, never has one of these games made me want to never play COD again. Basically I've switched to Halo, which is an epic game btw. The lag compensation in BO2 multiplayer is atrocious, it kills the game, nearly impossible let to play. The hit detection is designed for all the little 10 year olds who have taken over an 18+ rated game, basically so all these garbage players out there who can't aim can feel like they're good while those of us who can actually aim are trying to figure out how the guy who isn't even looking at me just shot me! The campaign is just rediulous. Just pop in the first black ops and pick up from there. Took me 4 hours to beat the campaign. No joke, this is the demise of this franchise, when this franchise decides to make a game for 10 year olds and basically tells us legit players to just deal with it.. I'm out! Save your money and put it into Halo 4!

I like this game a lot, my friends and I all play on Xbox live together. I wish they would update the graphics engine, but may in the new COD Ghost. Great game, Def. recommend it.

I really anticipated the arrival of this game and was excited when I picked it up. I did not camp out at midnight like some. At the beginning of the game it starts out with a river boat chase scene with graphics that looked like they were from something ten years ago. Hmmm. Well as the game progressed that improved. However, I could not believe I finished the game in about one day and was surprised I had reached the end so soon. I do not feel this is a good value game. I have played some games for days and weeks.

Purchased for my teenage son who has all the previous COD games. He seems to like it a lot. I wouldn't recommend it for young children though due to violent content.

I was really looking forward to this game, but there have been no improvements from the first Black Ops. Modern Warfare 3 has a lot better graphics. In Black Ops 2 even the cut scenes for the campaign were terrible- not to mention the story for the campaign. Also, the game keeps having server issues (in multiplayer) which is frustrating when you are in the middle of a match. They do not have a dedicated server-not that they did for the first one, but still... I see no improvements. Think I'll just play Halo 4...

I have called LACKTHEVISION about lag and they told me to call my internet provider to slow my internet down it is to fast. thanks to lag players on my screen bounce around like the Easter bunny. After unloading a full clip of bullets and reloading then starting to fire again on my screen then i drop dead and it shows that i have never fired a shot on the kill cam.you would think that with the BILLIONS of dollars that LACKTHEVISION has made on the Lag of duty series that they could afford a dedicated server to make the game play more fun for people with fast internet. As far as the story line it just keeps getting worse and worse and worse. most people that i game with don't even play the story mode anymore. Graphics are average for a game now a days audio is average also. The online gaming is more challenging only do to the major LAG, Quick scoping(major flaw in the game for people who want to have a good time.)

The multiplayer features was not good at all. Modern warfare 3 is much better.

Had fun playing the game. It took some time to learn the basics, maybe there could be a training session built in?

Wish there werent so many videos and stuff while playing storymode. It takes so long to actually play that I havent finish it... I stick with multiplayer only now a days.

This is a great game for people that like playing online or also zombies. Also, the new DLC packs have a great map variety.

Way too many perks and additions to the game. Cod 4 was a much better game

The only things that gets me mad on Black Ops 2 is the tryhards, but although its a great game to play .

I recently purchased COD BO II and love the strategy of the game. I am new at gaming and am now hooked!

If you've played previous Call of Duty games before, then this is in your ballpark. It's a fun game, but at times, it does get pretty repetitive. After some time, it does get boring and there isn't much variety on the game. If you're a beginner, you mind find it tough to play when you first get online as it is a very fast-paced game. Still fun, I'd say.

While this version was good, I prefer the older versions. Storylines were better in older games.

There has been an improvement in online but respan is still in your opponents area. Campaign is to Star Wars for my liking. I like war games not scienceficton. Only thing is worth playing on this game is online with friends with only computer opponents. People still respond camp.
