Some will say that it sucks because it is the same game being recycled every year, with the same run and gun gameplay, and there is truth to that. However, I actually enjoy the COD type of gameplay, however, this game just sucks for many other reasons. It is the only COD since COD4 that I absolutely hate. I love the COD franchise, and am a avid player. However, Black Ops 2 left me very disappointed. I was beyond hyped and excited to play this all winter long, but I hate to admit the game is really a step in the wrong direction. The guns sound like plastic toys, and the graphics look very cartoonist and are a step backwards...again. The servers are terrible right now, but that should change over time. About 40% of the games "Lose connection to Host" because people keep rage quitting (not to mention the fairly common "servers are currently down" message...but again this should change hopefully for those who decide to keep the game). Overall the graphics are bad, and lack the "crisp" look of such titles as Modern Warfare 2. Even the first Black Ops looked better (in my humble opinion). Zombies, quite possibly what I was excited about the most is SUCH a BIG letdown! They tried to make it better....and I salute them for it but seriously they totally ruined it with what they did. I really hope that this is not the direction the game is headed, or the future will indeed be black for the franchise. Also if you do decide to get it, which I recommend you save your hard earned money, they want you to pay an extra $50-60 for bonus maps. P.S. Gameplay feels very slow, blehh.

The game looks spectacular, sounds amazing and HAD the potential to be the best COD yet. But Treyarch dropped the ball. Their horrible lag compensation makes the multiplayer darn near impossible to play. Their "new" (see:Terrible) spawn system makes it worse. People buy COD game because of the multiplayer, but stick with MW3 or go buy Halo 4. Treyarch has made no attempt to fix it, nor will they. I'd go on, but it doesn't matter. You're going to buy your kid this game anyway because it is a Call of Duty and Activision/Treyarch will continue to make billions on garbage like this.

Terrible game campign line is awful the multiplayer was terribly put together do not waste your hard earned money on this.

I should have known better. I was never a fan of black ops 1 but I really, really wanted to like this game. The best part about the whole game to me is the sound, other than that its horrible compared to MW3. The commercials were awesome, I mean come on, iron man was in a freaking jet for crying out loud!! But like I said, I really should have known better. The weapons just don't seem solid. There isn't a single gun in the first 15 levels that are decent enough to use online, and the servers or lack there of, are just horrible. Every time your playing there's a host migration. It takes a whole clip to kill someone and the graphics are really second rate. If they only made the engine a bit more robust, it be a great game to play but I can't say that it is. I waited for the midnight release, played it for 4 hours and sold it the next day to someone at work for $50 bucks. The MW series is the best from COD. Black ops is just horrible, and zombies isn't all that fun either. It could be so much better... When is MW4 coming out cause this game is not worth $10. I would really like to meet the game reviewers who gave this game 9/10 in reviews and said it was the best game in the COD series, and ask them how much money treyarch gave them to butter them up. I hate this game....

This is the worst call of duty ever, It seems like the game was made in a rush, nothing like Black ops 1. The graphic are mediocre ay best and the multiplayer seems as if they tried to make it like battlefield. Very disappointed and me and my friends went back to playing MW3. The only thing worth playing is Zombies. They did a great job on that.

Short and to the point, I have had all COD games and I'm just not impressed with this one, the online play is horrible and I have a good fiber optic server line so its not me, bottom line, its just another call of duty that's over priced

The game is extremely weak, repetitive. The campaign is awful, the multiplayer is boring, every year a Call of Duty game is release and every year it's basically the same thing: tedious and awful.

Wasnt a fan of online. However I will still buy into the next game in hopes I can enjoy it as the ones before this

stay away & gamers do yr self a favor & just go back COD IV & stay there cause after COD IV was born then world at died after that story was going no where multiplayer the same as always & zombies enough the *%$#ING zombie games all u do endless kill zombies no if I wanted to play something like that I play dead nation game mode instead of this game stay away from Treyarch doesn't know how to make a new just know how to water down the same titles over & over & over again & yes every in the world hate this COD even ghost im glad I return my copy cause watching TV & it showed & add say 10 out 10 & fan just eating up like some kind of sick joke

So disappointed. Could hardly wait to play it. Put it in and was out before I finished the first level. All of them were great and thought it would be the best yet and it was the opposite. If you like halo and that type then you might like it. Did play onlne for a half a match and it was ok but it was like they tried to copy battlefield 3 online play. If I could get all my money back then I wouldn't still have it.

I don't own a copy of CoD:BO2 and I never will. I played BO2 at my cousins house for 1 match and laughed at how bad it was. I played CoD: MW every day when it was the new game and was really good at it. Stop playing CoD because I got bored of it. I laughed so hard because I havent played CoD in years and in one game that I played I went 25-1. Now, I'm not bragging because its not worth bragging about when you game aims for you and all you have to do is pull the trigger. I play Halo 4, which in my opinion is the best FPS out right now with Battlefield right behind it. I wrather play with sticks than play this game.

On line play is terrible! Worst that I've experienced from any game! The story line and regular mission is the only reason to buy! Not for online multiplayer!

Skip it. I can't believe it's as well liked as it is. the story SUCKS. Maybe it's cool for multiplayer (I get tired of getting my butt kicked by 12 year olds so I don't do that much).

Before the game came out i was pretty excited all my friends were telling me this is going to be the game of the year, wrong. I bought the game on the release and sold it a week later because i was so disappointed with the game. I think treyarch could have put a lot more time into this game. Game was to futuristic for call of duty, if i really wanted to play a futuristic game i would have bought halo not a call of duty game

This game is worth a Hall of Shame! Every map is a campers map. I sold this game after a week and I am going back to the first Black Ops. Handful of friends who played the first Black Ops everyday are selling Black Ops 2 for another game as well. Do not buy this game its not worth $20 IMO.

Same COD game every year. Different time and location. Same game.

If you expected Black Ops 2 to be awesome because Black Ops was off the chain! Think again. They might as well call this game Modern Warfare 4. It has 0 of the characteristics Black Ops had, and for that. You get one star, all this hype for absolutely NOTHING. A 100% FAIL!

Black Ops II promised a futuristic campaign mode, but half of the campaign takes place in the 80's. The multiplayer is flawed with extreme lag and horrible spawning system. Zombies mode is okay but very glitchy, like the rest of the game. Graphics still look 2007-ish
