Loving the game so far. Multiplayer is as good as ever with the addition of specialists weapons and abilities. Zombies is challenging with a lot of content and a new progression system. Campaign now offers a co-op experience unlike ever before. Overall a good call of duty game with nice additions to the franchise.

    Good but not great

Over all I am very happy with this game and there is a lot to have fun with while playing. The graphics are great, I like the story line in campaign mode and the 'Nightmares' adds a new twist to the game. The part that I don't like as much is the multiplayer portion. The game play itself is great and the graphics are amazing. The part I don't like is player development. I thought the way 'Advanced Warfare' handled character development was much better. You are stuck with a preset group of characters that you have to use. They come with their own abilities and you cannot mix and match. I do like some of the weapons you get to use like the 'War Machine' but so far there is only one character that can use this weapon. Over all I would like to have more choices the way you had with 'Advanced Warfare'. I also was not a big fan of the Zombie mode like I was with 'Advanced Warfare'. I never cared for having to rebuild barriers in the other 'Black Ops' Zombies and I had hoped they would not bring it back with this one. Now this review could change as I increase my online levels and open up more of the game, but at this moment this is what I think.

"COD: Black Ops III" biggest disappointment yet.

I pre ordered the game before previews were really released. I did so thinking it was going to be another awesome black ops game, i had no idea it was going to be another futuristic robot mind hacking game. Its basically a rushed updated modern warfare. Theres more cons than pros with this game for me. I found myself wanting to sell the game and stick with "Ghosts". likes: that i can skip through most of the cut scene junk, MOST. That they used my name in the game The partner actually helps in battle unlike the useless one in COD MW The pointless actions have almost all been taken out. Again, almost all, but its a huge deal for me. I find them extremely annoying in a first person shooter. Dis likes : I live in a rural mountain comunity where internet speed is slow at best. On the box of COD BO3 it says internet not needed for game play. Well what it didnt say is that i do need the net if i want to play anything other than zombies. When i first put the disc in the only thing available was the zombies (which i hate) for playing. I had to download Campaign and the other stuff from the net. So immediately i was regretting the buy. Had they told me that in the first place it would have never gone home with me. A little one sided when the difficulty is on vet or realistic. If u die in one shot so should the enemy, especially when shot in the head. The whole future, robots, wall running, cyebernetic controls is not what i wanted in a black ops game. It should have been named "black ops 3030" in multi player, the game modes are terrible, the number of games has been cut in half. Each time you change game modes you have to re edit the game settings, no recent game modes or "my" game modes like with cod ghosts. It boasted about the character being fully customizable, once again cod ghosts has more of a customizable character and selections to choose from. The specialist are joke enough to fit the rest of the game, including their special weapon. Small amount of maps to choose from with out being connected to a network. Theres other stuff like game play errors. Invisible walls galore, stuck glitches, computer enemies just standing there. It seems like they rushed. It felt more like i was playing a terminator game ( including the sound effects and music) rather than a black ops game. By far, the best part of the game were the WWII flash backs, except that the enemies floated to space when killed. It follows the story but still. I want a realistic vietnam, wwII or even current affair shooter. Not a zombie robot future that will never happen in my lifetime shooter. Final words, i wasted my money.

    New COD and Same Feel

First off, this is not a bad installment in the series. This is probably the best COD on the next generation consoles so far. The multiplayer is fun and its better than Advance Warfare. The jumping and movement feels more natural and the shooting feels better. They also added a "Destiny" super in the game that adds to the game but isn't overbearing. Zombie mode is still fun as ever. Second, I havnt really gotten into the single player, but its the usual linear gameplay. The only thing I didn't like is that you don't have multiple endings, so there is little replay value. Overall, If you are a fan of the series....DON'T MISS OUT!!! 4/5 is my score

I haven't played a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare 3. I wasn't much into it because everything was so futuristic. Fast forward to Black Ops III, and it's pretty futuristic as well. After giving it a few days and getting used to the changes and in game technological advances, I have quickly grown to love it. The campaign is one of the better ones in my opinion, but the multiplayer online mode is where this game shines. From Gun Game to Team Deathmatch, online mode is just plain fun.

    The Yearly Online Experience

There really isn't much to say about this game but say that the online experience is second to none. With Treyarch being the ones to develop the game it shows the quality of the game as they are known to never disappoint. The story is also quite good from the little I played of it but the real joy comes from the online and the ever so popular zombie mode. Overall a really great experience if you have the patience to better yourself online along with dealing with online trolls

If you like action intense games where you are firing almost every other second at someone than this is the game for you. I myself prefer games like battlefield where you get vehicles to drive around and the larger maps and where you aren't constantly dieing or killing someone. So although I don't care for the multiplayer the zombies is really fun. Also I really don't care for the futuristic setting either and I wish they would just make remakes of the first and second modern warfare already.

Treyarch is our last hope of a good COD game

I miss the feel when I first played Modern Warfare (2007), but no other COD game comes close (single player is still best and multiplayer was addictive). But Treyarch knows how to make a good game too, well at least for multiplayer and zombie is so much better. For an old engine, there are moments where I'm in awe at the graphics. Fantastic job Treyard. Advanced Warfare & Ghost sucked. Play this game if you like shooters.
