I started playing COD with the original BO because before that they made me feel weird, dunno. My favorite is MW3 and BO2 is right there. This being the 4th one I've had, just not sure. Maps to me are too big for the most part. Respawning on top of enemies is annoying as he!!. Shotguns are obsolete, and it takes forever to get points to unlock score streaks and weapons.

This game is a great game for all levels of players. The weapons and variety are nice. The campaigns provide a good variety of challenges

Purchased for my son (at a great price) he's collecting a number of titles for his PS3. He states that it is awesome.

The story was new and very entertaining. The multiplayer needs some inprovements.

I really wanted to like this game as I loved all other Call of Duty games especially Black Ops and Black Ops II. I wasn't expecting it to be better than those games as this game was made by the "other" Call of Duty game designers. Given that Modern Warfare 3 was not so great, I wasn't expecting an exceptional follow-up. The maps in this game are too big for its own good. It is a sniper's heaven. One thing about this game is that you will get shot in the back a lot. Expect to die at least twice in the back. You could watch your back more often but that leads you to, yes, getting shot from the front. If that sounds comical, it is in some ways. But that will get your blood curdling after the umpteenth time. I expect this game to go the way of Modern Warfare 3. It won't sell nowhere close to the Black Ops series. I think a lot of players enjoy run-and-gun type of shooting. That's what made Black Ops so popular albeit totally unrealistic to real military combat. But then video games are nowhere near real military combat. That's why we have 13-year old boys talking smack all over the place. Hand them a real rifle and they won't last a day in a real gun battle. In fact, a show did give a Call of Duty fan a rifle and he promptly cried as the butt of the rifle hit his face upon recoil.

COD Black Ops II was disappointing, this was worse. Characters are unnecessarily complicated, weapons don't vary by much, your locked into one character while playing a game or between games. The Squads idea had potential, but they should have left the character build like it was in MW3. There is more of an emphasis on Clans but even that is still to complicated. To join a clan I have to download an app to my phone, apply to a clan (like I'm apply for a job), and I don't even know what to do from there cuz that's as far as I've gotten. Seems like COD has become just another label with diminishing quality.

Multiplayer maps are way too big to keep you entertained long enough. Colors for this game on PS3 are terrible (washed out & gray).

Campaign play is pretty good. Multi-player was disappointing compared to past products.

Just doesn't live up to the rest of the series. It is not as good as ANY of the previous ones.
