For months we have been waiting for COD Ghosts to come out. The previews were "edge of your seat, I need to sell my first born child to purchase this game"... Ghosts arrived and it immediately went into my PS3. I'm a Campaign type person cause that's who I am. My son is all about the online play. I burned through the Campaign in a couple of hours of random playing (I work for a living compared to the standard "living in my mother's basement playing video games 24/7 while screaming for mom to make me some meatloaf" hardcore gamer.) I was extremely upset with how quickly the Campaign ended. It seems as if the COD franchise is making the Campaigns shorter and shorter so that they can keep everyone on their payroll to make sequels. Granted, the online, multiplayer action is awesome, but when it comes to the Campaign, I was expecting a lot more out of it. If you are an online gamer, I recommend this game. If you like campaign modes, this is not the game for you. It's too short, was easily beaten (and for the record I only play Veteran on all COD games)... Also, this is not the game for the younger kids (even though most parents don't care what their kids play these days anyhow). Every other word out of the characters mouth was some form of profanity. Didn't realize that profanity was required for video games these days. I understand that it is a military based video game, I'm military and I curse, but there are kids under the age of 12 playing these games and that type of language should not be tolerated. My son is 17 so profanity is heard in his daily life due to disrespectful people in his school and at his job.

The game is has good maps and good multi player. It is a bit of a pain having to gain points to buy all of your weapons and attachments.

Compared to all the other Call of Duty games, this campaign is far better with more action. The online play has lots of new things such as the weapons and also the dogs. Thumbs up for sure!

Love this franchise and spend way too much time playing this game. Great single campaign that encourages replay. Like the online and will make this a long-term part of my game collection.

As a casual gamer my opinion may not matter much, but to me this is just the same old COD. The addition of Squads in Multiplayer is nice and I for one enjoy it. The Extinction mode is very interesting as well but still has nothing on Zombies in my opinion. Yes, there are improvements like there typically are in each COD. However, it is still the same COD with very little "game changing" additions, lackluster single player story, and heavy focus on Multiplayer. But hey, it it ain't broke don't fix it.

The game has a lot of action, still players on line to interact with. Decent game.

This version of COD seems like a hybrid between Battlefield and COD. Most of the maps are larger with longer lines of sight. Graphics are nice but colors look really drab, even for a FPS. The new sliding move and contextual lean are nice. I like the new system of setting up your perks. You can purchase the perks or wait for the game to unlock them. Even with the larger maps, spawning still needs work. If you are looking for a faster paced game, play blitz. It's no Nuketown but it's fun.

If liked The COD titles in the past this is a must have game. The storyline is great but the online play is realy cool. There are so many more options on how to play online.

I was new to call of duty series. Was attracted to game because of great price. Lots of action. Got this sports gamer hooked on first person shooter games

I like the campaign mode story line.. The new multiplayer clan wars adds a new excitement to playing with your friends... Extinction mode is fun but wish it were longer.

I loved this game. It has a lot of action. Good story line. I beat it on easy mode, next will be normal mode until I go through all of the modes. It was challenging.

This game was only $4.99 and my daughter loves it! I was going to put in her stocking, but we opened and played it tonight! Great for the price!

Solid game if you played previous games everything felt right at home, the storyline,gameplay,graphics and its action packed. Online play had an interesting option called squads and I liked that version cuz I was able to get more kills and use the kill streaks. I think there should of been more flexibility on the kill streaks like making a bit more easy to get because the only way I was able to use the higher streaks was on the random luck with care package.

When is about of military strategy, or a great challenge mission. This is the game to play, it has extraordinary options never seen in other games. Be a pilot of a helicopter, drive a tank, be on space, or dive with sharks. This game will blow your mind.

Not the same old call of duty. New kill streaks, guns, and equipment. It's a ton of fun to play. Story line is good on campaign and multi player is really good.

The Campaign is pretty good. Extinction mode is awesome. Better than Zombies and Survival. The Multiplayer is absolutely horrible. Large maps and many stealth perks that make the game just a big camping trip. If you like to run-and-gun, buy BF4. Neversoft really needs to work on the MP experience. Personally, I play extinction and play Black Ops 2 for MP on the PS3.

As I said above...This new version is much more difficult than the previous version. As you run around, you a much more likely to get hit by a snipper as you try to find your way around. If you do get shot, you are much more likely to be dead rather than just wounded and can keep running until you heal. But the graphics are amazing and the war fields are interesting/challenging. Definitely not for kids that can't handle violence.

I got the PS3 version and then did the digital download for PS4 for another 10 bucks. With the digital download I hadn't expected having to also put the PS3 disk in every time I want to play it on the PS4 - but you do have to. Oh well... The game does have better graphics on the PS4 but in the end it is just another COD title. I always expect more with each new version, never quite get it, but always buy it anyway.

I've been playing the series since CoD 4, so I know the series pretyy. You get a lot more of the same--crazy story, crazy guns, and crazy explosions. I've enjoyed playing the single-player. But, the punishing diffuculty in MP is a dramatic change. I don't have the time to play 6 hours a night. As a result, I find it virtually impossible to compete with the "veterans". The new game modes do create some new fun.

Been a fan of the Series. This is by far one of my more favorite ones playing yet. Great story in the in game and all the action online.
