Not a big fan of the online play as it seems like everything is the same color. Aliens is cool. I don't play campaigns. Worth my $20

Got this game for free on a Christmas promo. Already had it for 360 ,,but since it was free thought I'd get it for the Xbox one as well.

I love the CoD series and was excited to finally play Ghosts. Graphics are great, but the single-player campaign is shorter than previous installments. I finished it in under 9 hours (over the course of a week.) It also ends with a cliffhanger that I don't think is going to be resolved. If you're a fan of the series and want a quick, fun game at a cheap price (I paid $8 on Black Friday) then this game is for you.

I don't play COD for the campagin mode. Therefore, my review is for the mutiplayer experience ONLY. I've played COD games for quite some time. I have to say I was disappointed with this game. The spawn points are horrible. Although they claim to have fixed the spawning issues, they still cause problems. Players spawn behind and beside me. Some spawn near me right after I kill them. The maps are too big. I am more of a sub machine/shotgun/pistol user, but these maps are for snipers and marksman rifle users. I am not happy with the gun selection. I expected a better selection. Snipers are overpowered. The kill streaks are pointless. There is no kill streak that really stands out. Create-a-soldier is ridiculous. I expected the chance to really create a soldier, as opposed to play to unlock features. I think it is a shame that I can't play with 360 users. What's great about the game? It's the new COD game. I played the others so much that this one has to do for the moment.

I really like the single player campaign, though somewhat short, it was diverse and varied. Haven't played live yet, hope to soon.

I am a pretty big Call of Duty fan. And, honestly, this franchise is beginning to get a bit stale. Maybe it's the yearly releases, or maybe its just that they are running out of ideas, but it's definitely starting to show it's wear and tear. While not terrible, the single player is just alright. And the multiplayer isn't all that good, especially when you begin to compare it to some of the other multiplayers from games past.

Great continuation and looks like last of realistic ones in this series, the next ones seem way to futuristic for my taste.

If you're looking for a CoD addition to your XBox One library, spend a little extra and get Advanced Warfare. Much better game.

This is a pretty good game. Interesting storyline and plot for single player and the multiplayer is the usual Call of Duty.

Fun game. Fairly simple to maneuver around. Good storyline if you are into that. Although it was a quick game to finish.

The game throws you into the action within the first few minutes and its a roller coaster ride from there on. The graphics are awesome and the action just keep coming.

One of the reason why I wanted an Xbox to be able to play this. I enjoy playing the multiplayer and live especially during this current time when we are distancing. It is a fun way for me to pass around time and take out some aggression as well.

I don't play this competitively online. So between the campaign and some online play with friends, it's a good game.

Great price for the first next gen Call of duty game on Xbox one got this on Black Friday couldn't beat that deal

love cod, this is a great addition to the cod franchise. i mostly play online so my area of concentration is with multiplayer. i like the addition of the horde mode and squads. it's definitely with the purchase. as with any online multiplayer, lag switching is still an issue but, not as much as in the past. new updates have gone a long way. my main gripe is the DLC. the season pass costs just as much as the game itself! just give it to us already! we're paying a ton for the game itself. give us a break. i guess the best way to show my displeasure is to not buy the DLC. other than that, great game.

All is okay thus far. I was expecting another game. Luckily my son liked Call of Duty. The order ticket stated Madden.

This game came as a free gift with the purchase of the console.. It is a good game, but newer versions are out now..

If you're a COD gamer, take my review w a grain of salt as I'm new to fps as I'm sure many of you have been for years. I'm happy with the game. So, I have no complaints. If you're new to fps, then I recommend it. If you're a mom, beware...strong language.

I'm bought this as a Christmas present for my spouse. He enjoys playing it and would recommend it to a friend.
