Futuristic with a twist
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, this Call of Duty is Futuristic; but here is the catch! This Call of Duty still manages to stick to the original gameplay feel and mechanics. The game introduces new futuristic ideas and neat trinkets of futuristic gameplay along the way while still managing to create the feeling of previous Call of Duty titles. The game offers an excellent Zombies mode that has been recreated into a more enjoyable manner for various types of players by introducing a more simplistic Perk system; think along the original Call of Duty WaW zombies, and introduces the zombies mode in a more colorful and arcade like way. I definitely suggest picking this title up!

A game to buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is going to be good. I like the fact that it has Call of Duty Zombies and I hope it is going to be good. Overall this game is worth to buy. I also like the fact that Infinity Ward also made a remastered version of Modern Warfare for the PS4 and Xbox One. Definitely worth my 80 dollars. Call of duty modern warfare was one of my favorite call of duty games thank god it is on newer consoles with better graphics.

Basic, not innovative, regressing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, another year another COD. But, again, they have failed to jump start the franchise in a new direction. The game play is very basic. They have basically encompassed the previous 3 CODs, with a touch of even older ones, into one and return that old school feeling. Unfortunately, it has the Ghost version feeling-- and we all know that disaster. The guns are nothing special, in fact, some are replicas of previous CODs with a slight redesign. The multiplayer maps are very basic as well, with tons of corner camps, not very large, and as of now, not a lot of maps. Zombies actually takes a different approach with a modern day look, but a funky map design--however, not very exciting. It's tough to say if there are any special power ups, the awesome gun box, or pack-a-punch upgrade. The campaign is pretty good as usual but with the basic and common gun play, you may find yourself kind of bored. Overall, this COD is a step back...waayy back. It's another typical frustrating-doesn't-make-sense-how-he-killed-me COD. This is something we've all become accustomed to expect from this game. I think COD may have seen it's glory days come and go, and now must accept their running out of ideas. Either that, or maybe the fan base is asking for too much and they are just executing wrong. Who knows. But, gamers will be gamers and they will take their chances with franchise. However, I'd pass, and admit I was wrong... Battlefield has certainly taken the crown this time around. You may find yourself enjoying their approach and effort far more.

Single player campain too hard for casual players!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Many reviews complained about how standard the multiplayer mode is while praised the single player campaign. I happily bought this game because I was only interested in the single player campaign but even that is not very good (at least not for me). This installment seems to expect that you already an expert at playing call of duty (or other first person shooters) and didn't provide much hand holding. It just throw you in the middle of the action and yelled out or put up some onscreen instructions for you to do something but most of the time, I had no idea what to do. I couldn't differentiate enemies from friends as they looked too similar in the heat of action... but the biggest problem for me with this game was the high level of difficulty - I played on the easiest (recruit) difficulty and ammo was very limited while enemies can absorb bullets like sponges. I just die a lot while reloading or looking for ammo. Getting shot at and killed by some unseen enemies or blown up by grenades is also a norm. My original plan was to play this game for about 30 to 45 minutes each day while I exercise on my stationary bike but I often gave up 15 or 20 minutes in because it was so frustrating. May be I will revisit this game when I'm better at the genre or have watched all the play through videos.

Same old same old
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The call of duty series is feeling a little stale. I play the game for it's multiplayer and single player modes. The story is interesting and some of the characters are entertaining as well. It was fun for the first 80 hours but now I've moved on.

One of the worse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really regret buying this game, nice graphics, zombies is pretty fun but multiplayer and campaign is just the same old repetitive thing. Really wanted the Modern Warfare Remastered Game most of all.

Great installment into a tired series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is mostly for the single player. Story-wise, this was a pretty exciting installment into what has become a tired series. There are lots of twists and turns, and the gameplay is very diverse with lots of quality gunplay mixed in with some aerial space combat. I would recommend this to gamers who enjoy action packed single player experiences. It's not very long but the pacing makes it feel satisfying.
