...so I'm not gonna rant and rave about it. It's the only game in which I enjoy the Campaign as much as Multiplayer. With Halo, I never even played through the campaigns; but with the MW series, i find myself playing through multiple times. Why? Because it's exciting! I'm not even really a gamer-- I buy 2 or 3 games a year. I waited in line for this one, and was not happy about it. After playing it, I'd wait in line for 12 hours to have it.

Best Call of Duty yet. It's set 5 years in the future so it's got present day guns and ammo. I like how fast you come back if you get killed. Some games have to reload but not this one. Also you respawn very quickly in multi-player which is nice. Only downfall is how short the single player campaign is. Beat it in normal mode in about 5 sittings. I didn't expect it to end so quick. If you like shoot em up games this is the best of the year!

All around good game. Get past the cheaters and glitches and it is a really fun game. Looks gorgeous.

This is one of the best games ever. Amazing gameplay and online play. The story is very good.

I recently received this game as a gift from my parents. Aside from the excellent story mode, the challenging Achievements(Xbox-360)/Trophies(PlayStation3) and the new Special Ops mode, the game has but one flaw in my opinion. If you are new to Call of Duty and like to play online, the seasoned veterans will be having their fun with you. My suggestion would be to be patient and work out the kinks. Besides that, one of the best games I will ever play. And once you are good online, this game will be the same for you.

CoD4: Modern Warfare was/is a fantastic game, it didn't earn the Game of the Year (2007) title for nothing. This new version promises to be another masterpiece, even if it turns out to be more of same, it will still be an awsome experience. But knowing the people at Infinity Ward, I'm sure they will improve on their previous achievement. From what I have seen already in the teaser trailers, it already looks amazing!!

this is the # 1 game for shooters on ps3/ xbox 360 right now i am going to get this game by February right here on best buy i hope they do a special offer about it soon if you want the ultimate experience in shooter career or online mode then get this one recommended or get Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Army of two: the 40th day, or battlefield company 2 which is coming on march 2 for ps3 and few xbox 360

Just when you thought Call of Duty could not be improved. COD Modern Warfare 2 offers much more than previous versions of teh game. The game comes with tons of complex mapps that you no longer have to pay for and download. You can move up through the ranks fairly quickly online and gain numerous perks and weapons configurations. You now have a wider variety of setups for your character.

The great graphics and the surround sound put you right in the middle of the action. At the Airport I felt like had to brush the broken glass off of me at the end of the objective. You may want to put on a winter coat for the arctic scenes, because it is that realistic. You may want to have a seat belt when riding the snowmobiles or you might fall out of your chair. Its a real blast!!!!

im the type of person that doesnt like shooting games because i suck. i got this game because everyone of my frends and cousins told me to so i got it. i love this game every time i am not playing i think about it the graphics are amazing ths game is the best game i ever played. i got it for my ps3 and online is the s**t love this game. waiting for the next COD to come out

ok so this is gonna be a great game i pre ordered it and everything online play looks fun and awsome but almost every call of duty i ever played the camp. was so dam easy that i beat the game in acouple of hours i hope that this gme will be a actual challenge to me so that i wont clear the campaign in acouple hours and then play online plz god let this game be difficult

this is a great game with awesome graphics, however i think the game is way too short for how good it is.

I bought this game at best buy and havent regreted it!This is the best game i have ever played!I play it every single day.Online play is just heaven.And Campaign is great,And you can skip missions that might be offensive to you.like a part when you have to kill attack dogs.

The guns in the first modern warefare are the best. Mw2 is good dont get me wrong but, all the campers and the fact that there is no sniping spots is pretty upsetting. It's a good game to buy. Just remember if you get mad at other call of duty games this one is realy going to make you nuts you off. There will be times that you get nub tubed right as you spawn. But as long as your in a good match, you wont have to worry.

when this game came out i had to get it, and now that i play through everything i got to say its a well design game every detail its awesome. i like the fact they put the special opcs thing really fun and when yo don't want to play the special opcs thing you could play online which its even better. overall best game of the year for me.

If you haven't seen the E3 demo video, or the trailers for this game yet, you're gonna be blown away. The graphics are top of the line; the guns are beautifly detailed. Awesome game. It's saved me from my World of Warcraft addiction. I haven't logged into Warcraft since I bought this game. IT'S AWESOME! The online play is the best but if you're not running your PS3 online, you might want to keep looking for another game, I could see that this game's solo play might get a bit boring.

While the graphics are great the story seems lackluster compared to the original Modern Warfare. Online play is fun but it has a arcade feel, you get overpowered guns and perks leading to lots of players just sitting in corners so they dont die. The game is very unbalanced, one example is the granade launcher being the first thing you unlock. Then if you add the Danger Close perk it just adds to this overpowered ATTACHMENT. Also many of the secondary weapons are so powerful that they could easily be a primary themselves. This game is fun but extremly unbalanced, if your looking for just some fun here and there its great but if your a serious gamer and want a great gaming experiance this isnt the game for you, Infinaty Ward didnt bother patching the game at all to attemt to fix the problems that they could have. The few good things are the graphics and host migration works great.

whats bad about it is that the multiplayer kinda sucks compared with MAG multiplayer. the campaign is amazing, but online multi is laggy and confusing, fun, and yet missing something more realistic as in getting money so as to buy the weapons instead of exp and challenges and stuff... otherwise the spec ops and the campaign are amazing. hopefully in codmw3 they will improve on the multiplayer.
