Great game , very fun to play! It is a bit rough on the Xbox console

This is a pretty entertaining game for the most part. It has brought me and my housemates together with endless entertainment. It is a game not for the faintest of hearts. I do not recommend this game for kids. Very adult themed and brutal action sequences.

We have other COD games, but this one has become a favorite for my 17-year-old son. I cannot speak specifically about the game because I do not play it, but it was recommended. As with all Call of Duty games, the rating is mature so be mindful of that.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Standard Edition is a fun solid game.

People want to break it down and critique crazy. It's Call of Duty. If you liked it before, you'll like it again plain and simple. Campaign is great. Online is great. Doesn't disappoint, unless you're just trying to find something to complain about.

Good campaign, multi-player is repetitive. Try to get it on sale.

If you love classic, then you'll love this one. Smooth game play, no bugs, loads fast, medium storyline that could be longer, but thats the case with any fun game, right? I personally love this edition and Im a middle aged adult

The campaign is good. Lots of great set pieces that you come to expect from COD. Solid action and controls. Less "follow the leader" gameplay. But the multiplayer is not as good as previous iterations. Maps seem poorly designed and more chaotic than previous games, and tend to promote one specific type of strategy. Modes found in previous games are missing.

Its a pretty cool game, lots of different modes and maps. I have WW2 and its very similar of course very fun to play. The cross platform is cool so now I can play with friends that do not have an XBOX. The one con is the chat audio is terrible. Although not so bad when you get a complainer...and there's always that one you need remind..its only a game.

My son can’t put it down. Very realistic. A far way from pong.

I’ve been very disappointed in the past few call of duty games. I’m glad to see one come out that I feel like lives up to the old call of duty games. The story line and graphics were very good. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out in a couple of years

So at launch, trash. A bit after that they started tweaking connectivity issues, trash. Then they played with movement and weapon weight, eh it's getting better. Then it felt like they redid everything. I'd say that was about 3 months ago? That was when it felt fun and functional. After that they started tweaking more balance issues with the new guns all coming out OP AF etc(all hail mp7/grau meta) that was kinda when they lost me again. It felt unbalanced and not fun again. They really oughtta vet these gun stats BEFORE putting them in our hands. Lol. But alas, every major game just pushes content and fixes it later if we scream loud enough. Meh. It's fun, it's cod, it's shooty bois and their camp spots. Don't go into it thinking the game is revolutionary. It isn't. I do enjoy unlocking all the battlepass stuff, getting new guns maxed out and the characters you get. Other than that, totally the same game with a face lift. IMO.

Yet another solid rollout of this series. The game play is very good. The ability to adjust to skill level and results is very welcome. Options inside the game are great and it works very well on Xbox One.

Honestly, I have been trying to find other things to play. Its not perfect and Id prefer some things were done slightly different. In the end, I'm sticking with COD. Its best in class. Its the solid choice for entertainment let alone FPS games.

Great game, but the campers have to go. Tired of them.

Huge game so make sure you have space but once its done its great. Maps are bigger but not so big your running around for 2 minutes trying to find someone. I like the fact you can open and shut doors and over all has more options and no special weapons

Decent, great graphics, and game play. Missing BattleRoyal mode.

Call of Duty is always a great choice. It’s a lot of fun.

I am truly happy that since there are two gaming systems current out (xbox one and ps4) that they decided to make the game dual interface that any gamer on either system can play online with each other which has helped this game rise to new levels
