Modern Warfare has the action-packed single-player and robust multiplayer modes one expects from the series. It successfully strips all superfluous elements and delivers an experience even non-shooter fans can enjoy.

Call of duty kinda lost me when they introduced jet packs and all that jazz but this game came back to the modern warfare roots and they got it right. Warzone is my favorite. And the game is one of the best in my opinion.

Had to return to store very next day after purchasing because the first disc did not work. According to clerk our first one was not a true disc, the picture was blurry and dull. Appears someone at the game distribution center switched the real one out for a fake one. So after two trips to store we are happy with game.

A dark and more bloody take on Modern Warfare. It's an incredible installment within a standard military narrative. The adventure often shines a light on the darker elements of warfare which is refreshing for this franchise. The multiplayer is hit and miss, expect a lot of balancing issues.

It takes forever to load online with the updates. After that, fire away! Game goes back to original style of perks, claymores and good maps. Couple of the maps are boring but I guess fun. Overall worth buying at BEST BUY!!!!

Great game, have been playing Call Of Duty games for a long time. This one is fun to play, not a huge fan of buying the season passes every few months but played anyways. Looking forward to COD cold war now

Decent game with nice graphics for the Xbox One!!!

When Infinity War stated that they would reinvent the CoD franchise, I did not have this as a final product in mind. Essentially, the new Modern Warfare took the most intricate, obnoxious, and difficult aspects of other kinds of shooters. They also neglected to include the parts of the previous arcade-style Call of Duty games that made it enjoyable for everyone. Team Deathmatch among all other game modes now includes leaning and peeking. Today, I sat in disbelief watching a killcam in which a player sniped me from the crack of a door. Another player propped his weapon upon a broken piece of wall. Most of the time, when you die playing this game, you'll watch the killcam and think to yourself, "Wow, there was no avoiding that." PUBG as a battle royale is a very tactical shooter. Most of the time you get picked off by someone who you can't see. This game dynamic is now in Call of Duty. Rainbow Six: Siege includes peeking and leaning, allowing players to tactically plan their match according to very small maps and clever angles. Call of Duty now includes this. The Battlefield franchise is known for their large maps with countless places to sit and snipe from. Call of Duty now includes similar maps that seemingly require you to camp. Finally, Modern Warfare rewards camping unlike any other Call of Duty game that I have ever seen. Treyarch always used the "three-lane formula", a middle open part, and two narrow side lanes to a map. Infinity Ward used to keep maps tight and compact, so as to avoid large areas for unfair advantages. Over the weekend, my tendency to run-and-gun has been trampled several times. Once the match clock counts down, it's a footrace to that first spot that can pick off one to five people in the first thirty seconds of the match. The buildings are closed off, meaning that there are typically very few, or only one, entrance/exit. Place a claymore down, set up shop behind the crack of debris, and you've got yourself a 35-kill match. Meanwhile, anyone who wants to play the game like the last twelve CoD titles is sitting at the bottom of the leaderboard, going 2-15, wondering how it is that they were picked off in their own spawn. I give this rating because the only way you are going to enjoy this game is if you commit to the level of the basement lurker who has a playtime exceeding 1000 hours within the first few months. If you're a normal player who wants to run-and-gun or spray-and-pray, I suggest you stick with Black Ops 4. That game is a Michaelangelo masterpiece compared to this steaming pile of trash. Save your sixty dollars until they can "reinvent" the series next year by reverting back to what it should be.

According to my kids this is the Best game!! I recommend it good quality graphics ! My kids love it!!!! We bought it a few months ago and they still play this game!!!! Definitely recommend for 13 older kids to play it.

Ordered online through Best Buy and said it was going to be a week out. I was okay with that. When it showed up in three days along with our new Xbox One we were excited. Thanks so much for the fast delivery option.

I have been very impressed by the realistic graphics and the incredible story line. I'm not much into multiplayer and haven't even tried that yet and I am still really happy with my purchase just with playing campaign mode.

This game is a step in the right direction. A good turn from all the disappointing titles the last couple of years. Many old gamers will enjoy this game as it’s a good return to the roots of classic COD at it’s prime.

I’m 64 years old and just purchased my first Xbox console for myself. I’m enjoying this game so far a lot came with it. The game comes with five different games you play. Included is Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season One.

I’m a fan of any call of duty that’s supposed to be set in modern times and this remind me of the other modern warfare games but it’s brand new and updated for this generation of consoles. I’m having a lot of fun playing it!

I've bought pretty much every Call of Duty edition there's been and this is by far the best one that's been released in recent years. The number of game modes and maps is plentiful and keeps you coming back for more. I mainly play online and can't really fault this game. Good job.
