U need to play the black ops oh collect for you collection

I dont play much video games but i tried it out and this game was fun

This is yet another awesome game in the Call of Duty line of games.

MY KIDS ENJOY THE GAME EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT THE LATEST AND GREATEST ONE OUT THERE.

MY SON LOST HIS OLD DISK SO THIS WAS JUST A REPLACMENT

I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the challenge

After the previous year's controversial MW2 that was also a huge critical and commercial success, Treyarch yet again returned to the trenches, and have brought us a sequel to World at War. 20 years after WWII, well into the 60's with Vietnam being the main focus of this story. How does it fare side by side of the other games? Pretty well, fantastic even! Alex Mason (Sam Wothington, in his best role) is an SAD operative, who is sent to Cuba during the Bay of Pigs invasion to eliminate Castro, only to be captured and turned over to the Soviets. While in the gulag, he meets Reznov (From World at War), stage a stunning prison breakout in order to stop Mason's captor, Dragovich, from releasing a nerve agent developed during WWII called Nova-6. Mason must then travel the world searching for clues to find Nova-6 and stop Dragovich, all the while holding a secret he doesn't know he holds. So the plot borders on the line of realism vs. Hollywood, though it does have several historical figures in the game (The aforementioned Castro, JFK, Nixon and more) but has several situations where it just gets kind of silly, but still very fun to play through and short enough to not lose interest. The graphics are top-notch, the controls are accurate and sharp, sound mix is of course a treat, and also features a first for a CoD game, 3D. The standard way of playing it is terrific, but the 3D adds so much to the gameplay, with the aiming down the sights, debris, and explosions benefitting the 3D presentation immensely. Last, but certainly not least, is the multiplayer. Yet again it does have the standard stuff, but there are some new challenges to complete and of course Zombies return along with arguably the best multiplayer map ever created, Nuketown. These maps, the challenges and dozens of hours playing on Nuketown with local and online support is truly reason enough to buy this game. Sure there are other maps that offer a great time, but Team Deathmatch on Nuketown is the best reason, and for $20, its an absolute must for your shelf.

This game definitely was even better than i had expected. The graphics took a giant leap forward! It was flawless in my eyes! The story was different, original, engrossing, and a great plot twist! I dont know what people were complaining about because this game is incredible. The first contact pack does give the game a bit of a perk with the online gaming and i definitely love the zombie part of the game it is really fun! The game is definitely challenging but i must say after the great campaign I LOVE the online gaming. The level layouts are incredibly great design it wasnt frustrating like Modern Warfare did. There have been few first person shooters that have been as addicting and enjoyable as Black Ops. When it comes down to the differences in the COD series, look no further than the designer - Trey. vs. IW. WAW and Black Ops have both offered more than MOD1, 2 AND 3. They made the game FUN. As a gamer that grew up playing Goldeneye with my friends, I'm getting to an age now where games don't dominate my life. But I can appreciate a more challenging, fair, and entertaining game. Trey.: ZOMBIES vs. EXTRA MISSIONS - I don't understand IW's fear of them...people buy these games just to kill hoards of them. The extra missions are repetitive and dull. MAPS - Generally focused on a major battle center with multiple surrounding routes for different approaches that can actually be used purposefully. IW maps after MOD 1 lost this focus and design became more sporadic and finely directed. KILLSTREAKS - started very basic with MOD 1, became ridiculous and controlled the game in MOD 2 (killstreak added to next killstreak, let's not even speak of the nuke), became almost irrelevant and unreachable to the average player in MOD 3 (a jugger for how many kills?!). OPS - dogs, napalm, self piloted helicopters, random streaks like death machines and quick fire rocket launchers makes it dynamic and fun to achieve. WEAPONS - Almost all games will have a few guns that are overused and sometimes seemingly unstoppable. Insert 4 letter word for the famas/ak47u. But OPS has a balance that can offset these weapons. Using them too long leads to poor accuracy and almost requires you to use another gun for a while. There are also other weapons that are extremely fun to use (personal favorite SPAS) PERKS - If you're a camper, you're a camper. No game is going to fix that. That being said, Ghost was still dumb. This is probably the only area where MOD 3 has made a noticeable improvement from MOD 2. I also liked having to earn everything. In IW games it comes automatically as you play, little kids can do it and not even notice. BULLET TIME/ DEATH TIME - Give life a chance! IW - by the time you notice you've been shot, you're dead. Not due to accuracy, just overpowered weapons and underpowered health. No time to squeeze around a corner and return fire, no glancing hits. I love using shotguns but in IW games it's extremely difficult. EFFECTS/SOUND - Huge difference. I feel like I'm shooting an air soft gun in the MODs by the sound it makes. Almost no kick. Air strikes sound like splashes, not terrifying or realistic. It's also almost impossible to have a real conversation in MOD 3, don't know what they did to screw that up but the headset worked fine with OPS. PRESTIGE/CUSTOM/THEATER - The constant challenge to prestige and rank up was palpable in OPS, in the MODs it's an afterthought. Everything was customizable in OPS down to your face paint. The theater mode needed to be fixed to cut out the spamming, not eliminated in MOD. Sharing funny/dominant videos that you could edit with friends was great in OPS. Overall, I believe Trey. games like Black Ops are for a slightly more mature audience that values solid game play, use of tactics, effort based rewards and entertainment, excellent map design, and reasonable fairness. Case in point: I went back into MOD2 the other day and found myself in game where little kids were trying to do 360 jump spins and quick scope each other before they landed. It ended a minute later and a half later with a nuke...

I like this game so much, that I've opted over it for others in the series. While there are good parts to each game in the series, this game is where it all came together.

Black ops..... a very impresive game is now at best buy for only $60.00 if you think this is a rip off its not it comes with first strike ( berlin wall, kwoolown, discovery, staium.) kwoolown and berlin wall is for snipers. staium is for cqc. their all realllllllly fun. once again treyact gave us 4 new, awsome, and fun maps.

I have played mw2 and mw3 and I still love this game the best! The campain is worrible but the zombies and muliplayer is great!!! If you like playing multiplayer get this game!!!!

Black Ops offers new game play features that has enough variety from the established Modern Warfare franchise. Still the game offers great visuals and sound for an exciting adventure. This version of the game with the First Strike Content Pack provides more value for the online players.
