yet another great call of duty game, and much of the same from call of duty 4 (this is good for some, and boring for others) however, what is unfortunate is that it is like other world war II games, and it was developed by treyarch PS zombie mode is amazing

Overall I think that this is a great game. The solo missions are great and the competition co-op is really fun. I've only played the multiplayer a little bit but so far I haven't had any problems with it. The only thing that can get annoying are the tanks in multiplayer. But I think this is one of the best games I've played in a long time.

this is in my opinion the best call of duty so far. the zombie maps are better than black ops, especially der rise. the campaign was very fun too. i don't have much to say about this game other than it is quite fun. i recommend this to a friend.

Definitely a great game. A lot of blood splattering around, but if you're ok with that its definitely a good game. Compared to CoD4:Modern Warfare, its definitely a step up in terms of graphics and level of detail. Definitely worth checking out.

i really enjoy the cod series, but treyarch hasn't made very good ones. cod 3 was a disaster. infinity ward made cod 4 and is the best one yet. WWII games got boring when cod 4 came out, and cod waw made it worse. the best part is zombies.

i bought this game for 35 dollars because all of my friends were buying it, and after playing halo 3 for nearly a year i forgot all about it after my 3rd multiplayer match. this is the best multiplayer game for the 360 and i have had GTA IV, Halo 3, Gears 2, Bad Company, but this game beats all by a longshot

The game is great it.It has more gore then COD4 and the action will keep you on your toes and ready for anything.It also has one of the best easter eggs ever put into a video game.Although it does bring you back to world war 2 it is a side shown it from never before so yes I would recommend this game.

I was surprised to see the COD series revert back to WW2 time era, after what Infinity Ward did with COD 4 and made the game more modern. I like the new perks that are in the game, artillery strike, unleash a pack of dogs against the opposition, drive tanks and have a co-gunner. COD will always be fun

Many people were brought down when they heard that it was going to be WW2 again including myself, but i checked it out and im glad i did its extremely fun and addicting, and it touches about a different part of WW2 which is nice. Its a great game just like COD4 except it is built on, GET THIS GAME!!

i love the game . graphics=awesome they are probably the best part about it and i love how it makes you feel like your in the game . i recomend buying a chair that you hook the sound up to . i think it is as good as surround sound.buy the game and you will love it.have fun and kill some people .bye

ALRIGHT. THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES MADE FOR XBOX. THO SINCE THE GAME JUST CAME OUT THERE ARE A FEW PROBLEMS BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS OVER COD4. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH COD4, BUT CoD: WORLD AT WAR, IS JUST COD4 WITH MORE ADDITIONS. ALTHO THE BOUNDARIES SUCK, LIKE IF THERES A LITTLE ROCK, U HAVE TO GO AROUND IT WHERE AS IN ANY OTHER GAME U COULD JUST GO THREW IT. THE MELLEE IN THIS GAME IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE ONE IN COD4. IN COD4 IT WAS A KILL NO MATTER WHAT, IN COD5 U HAVE TO BE RIGHT ON IN HITTING THE GUY U WANNA KILL. THE GAME WAS BASED OFF THE ENGINE OF COD4 SO U KNOW ITS JUST AS GOOD EVEN THO TREY ARCHE HAS MADE SOME STINKERS IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. THE GRAPHICS WERE MY MAIN DISAPPOINTMENT. I THOUGHT IT WAS EITHER GOING TO BE THE SAME OR BETTER THAN COD4, IT WASNT. NOT THAT THE GRAPHICS ARE EQUIVALENT TO PLAYSTATION 1 GRAPHICS, BUT THEY'RE A TAD WORSE THAN COD3'S GRAPHICS. OTHER THAN THAT ITS A LOAD OF FUN ESPECIALLY WHEN PLAYING WITH 3 OF YOUR FRIENDS IN A FREE FOR ALL PRIVATE MATCH. HAVE FUN!!

I didnt like anything in this game except for the Zombies. In my opinion here is how this game was made..... They took Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare and just made it WWII, No skill at all was required to make this.

im glad that cod is back to ww2 because before modern warfare came out and all theses new people (claiming to be cod fans came). The old cod were the best and alot of fun. Plus this game has tanks. I cant even move with out being hit by a grenade (stupid). This game is going to be cool

like i said its great to play and has a good feel to it. The online gameplay is awsome. Cant wait to play on all of those maps in the game. beta only has 3 maps, but is very fun to play. THIS GAME IS A MUST BUY.

I believe that is is the best COD yet! the graphics, the gun selection, the different teams your on, 15 + long thrilling levels, and last but not least the bonus game! This game is creepy in its own way but it is the best game I have ever played! I strongly recommend this game!

Stupid. This game was very disappointing to me, especially after loving COD4. Why would you want to go back to world war 2 after having such great succes with modern warfare? I bought this game on a hunch because everyone said that it was cool. I beg to differ. I did not find this game to be any goog. Yes, it has that great graphics and all. The online is sort of the same as COD4, but just why go back to WWII. I think it's stupid especially after having the game of the year. I just dont get it. If you love COD4 chances are you will not like this game, unless you like WWII and old guns.

favorite game i have ever owned loads better than cod 4 and i am so glad i got it some of the things in the game that r quite annoying r the tanks but just use some c4 or a bazooka and ur set if ur thinking bout purchasing this game for your kid then i would highly suggest it

It has a different feeling than the fourth one but you get used to it fast. The enemies come at you harder on this one and the guns are realistic for what they acutally used during that time. Great coop mode and single player. This is my favorite game right now. Well done!!!!

I purchased this game yesterday 11/18/2008 I thought it would be good as cod4. Graphics are okay. Levels are more bigger and can do alot more like drive tanks and set attack dogs on other ppl. But other than what I have played it is an okay game. I would rather be playing cod4 more up to date guns and technology, the old war play just doesn't cut it no more. So I would definitely recommend renting, before buying. See yesterday I was going to get Gears Of War 2 over cod5 but I like cod4 so I wanted to see what it would be like. Should have went with GOW2. Returning game for GOW2.

Dont get me wrong this is a very good game withy good graphics and great controls , but overall it is a step backwards for the series after the excellent COD4 . This game gets a 8.4 in my book
