I've only played the beta version but if the single player is good then this will be a great game. I liked the graphics and the multiplayer was very fun. I think that the controls are a little to similar to COD 4 but overall I think this game will be a must buy.

The online play on this game is so addicting its ridiculous. The only drawbacks are that its very short in one player campaign mode, and it takes a extremely long time to unlock all the perks and weopons in online play. Overall its still the best game to date.

The story mode for this game is great...though a little short. The best part is the zombie mode. The only bad thing is the online isn't as good as cod4, and the tanks online just ruin it.

I absolutely LOVE CoD4... so without a doubt i got this game the minute it was shipped in! I was dissapointed when I found out there are very FEW achievements for co-op play, also not ALL levels are available on co-op. Story still blows you away......the FIRST time you play it... Multiplayer is basically garbage....weapons/perks are WAYYYY too cheap....I swear the levels were made for players who have to play cheaply! in other words before you buy it, ask a friend to borrow it first, i still think CoD4 is better.

Graphics are amazing. This game holds way new features than the last "Modern Warfare." New guns, new missions It is like a whole new game nothing really stayed the same as the last. Everything is better and fixed. Snipers are sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

best call of duty. dont waste your money on modern warfare buy this game

good graphics. Similar to cod4 except when you get 3 kills in a row you get a recon plane. 5 kills you get artillery stike and then 7 kills in a row you get to unleash dogs.

Overall its a great game, but it doesn't do much for me since I already spent fifty bucks buying COD4 and it felt like I just spent another fifty for the same game. I have to admit the campaign was extremely fun, although I thought it copied all of COD4 that there would be some awesome stealth mission, but the game fails again without that addition. If you have COD4 I would just stick with that for another year, but if not I would recommend you buy this game due to the fact its cheaper than Modern Warfare.

Should make zombie mode where one player can be on zombie team while the other player is human. Should have at least 10 straight kill prize or mybe 20 straight kill too.

This game is great, it is fun and challenging, but it insn't difficult to the point that it is frustrating and a drrag to play, i would reccomend this game to all who enjoy the seires, and to all who like 1st person shooters.

This is a great game but the Story mode is a little short. It would have been nice if the had the Us and Germany fighting but it is a great game over all

I have only played the MP and it is rock solid. Most of the maps are well balanced and the new grenades seem to have a smaller blast radius which is a good thing. there is also a bit more variety than cod4.

Well i am gonna get this game because its co-op play. However WW2 games need to end. Lets get more COD4 type games where the guns are updated.

world at war is amazing. if you're tired of cod 4 and mw2 and waiting for black ops then get this game to keep you busy until November 9th. hit detection is a little awkward but its an overall good game.

Hmm. Seems the same problem I had with call of duty 4 persists in COD5. The problem is that, you die instantly. Lets see, you die from 1 shot from an ordinary weapon like a rifle, long range. That's so dumb, that means, this game will just be all camping, and whoever see's the other person first gets the kill. This means its a no-skill game, and not worth paying for. I don't know how many people play with their volume up on their tv, obviously most, but your not going to want to with this game. Every few seconds their will be screeching and VERY ANNOYING mortars. You can also expect to get spawn-killed, over and over and over, another thing they didn't correct when I am sure its possible to correct, if only they would spawn you in a safe area. Another thing that's stupid about it is, theirs no more helicopter when you get 5 kills in a row, instead, you just gain the ability to release dogs, that more then half the time don't even attack anyone, they run in circles and glitch to walls. The makers of this game really embarrassed themselves with this one, don't know why people are rating it good, maybe they haven't played the beta yet. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend buying this at all, unless your just doing it for more gamer-score points rather then having fun.

Best ww2 game ever, you can look through a scope at the other guys and you can see EVERY STICH on the clothing. absolutely great graphics and very intense, I would buy this games if it was 100$ !

I had downloaded the demo off of live and I played it over and over again until I decided its time to buy it. I had so much fun play solo and online multiplayer. I play this game all the time.

Clean combat, army style as the title suggests. This title is all about tithe multiplayer, not any crazy perks like the newer games have.

the visuals hold up well, kiefer sutherland is the main voice over actor. (But the story, like all other ww2 games) gets you unmotivated to keep playing because you already know all aspects of ww2. online mode is good, it carries over perks and other layouts like modern warfare to customizing your soldier. But in the end i still would end up thinking " I'd rather play call of duty 4. " overall its decent, not great. I'd recommend this game if you don't like gears or fallout. but those games are better in my opinion.

This game looks to fun and i hope so. one thing i hear is one shot one kill, online. some may find it anoying but my self i like realalistic games so it should be a fun game full of exitment.
