Customers are enthusiastic about the engaging gameplay and the fun "Zombies" mode in Call of Duty: World at War. Many also praised the campaign, weapons, and online play, citing positive experiences with maps and perks. However, some criticisms were raised regarding the artificial intelligence, difficulty level, and occasional spawning issues. CALL OF DUTY WORD AT WAR
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the record Infinity Ward didn't make or have anything to do with call of duty world at war it was the people who made COD3 which in my case sucked. The good news is that activision is taking part in it and thats why it's call of duty world at war not COD5

WOW of the Charts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think that this is the best game to get because it explains the life of a real soldier and to me that is a real example of U.S. history. I would recommend this game for kids who are 17 or older because of the killing rate. So for all you parents out their who want to buy this for your kid try buying them something better like Need 4 Speed 2 its a great game. Thanks for reading my review

Cool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is OK. The single player matches up to Call of Duty 4 if not excedes it. The multiplayer is not as good though. The good weapons are way too hard to unlock and there are too many different ranks. But I really liked how they added veichles to the maps. That really improved the game.

good, not as good cod4
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong this is a good game, I just like cod4 better. The campaign with 4 players online is really fun, still I like cod4s campaign better. The graphics are around the same, but Cod5 came out a year later so I expected more from the graphics. All and all it's a good game.

Very good addition to the franchise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I myself am not into war / first person shooters that take place in eras gone past like the world wars but this game was well done. The engine used in this game is the same used in part 4 I beleive. If you love first person shooters and love the cod series this is a must have.

It wasn't my idea to get this "game"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me first start out by saying that CoD 5 is less than a new installment in the CoD franchise and more like an expansion pack to CoD 3. The game looks like it was originally developed for the Xbox, its graphics are just that bad. In another review I wrote for Gears of War 2, I also bashed this game, but this review continues the critical roast. There are some new settings in CoD 5 that were not in any of the previous WW2 games, i.e; Hawaii. There is also a flamethrower that makes its first debut in a CoD game. That is about it. So if you want to relieve essential moments in WW2, you might as well just play CoD 2 or 3 because even they are a whole lot much better. CoD 4 is obviously still king.

Great World War 2 Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Call of Duty World at War is a great game for the fact that it has co-op and they went back to World War 2 which in my opion is the only war that should be made into a game. They developers could of taken more time to refine the online to make it better. Overall the game is great. Anyone who likes World War 2 should buy this game

GREAT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this game a lot! The online, like i said above is great, and what I mean by weapon accuracy is that the guns are a lot like they used to be. i put this game down for about 3 months and am now back into it and i still think its good. i didn't like the campagn because it got to be the same thing over and over again.

Alright game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was alright. It did get very challenging in places, and I would almost be forced to quit and get back to it later in the day. The storyline did get very confusing using 2 or 3 people. This game is very good for co-op play, except if you shut off the system and you don't finish the first person campaign, then you have to start from the first level again. I'm pretty dissapointed with this game, I thought it was going to be better. And I was dissapointed that this was ANOTHER WWII game. We've already had Call of Duty: Big Red One, 2, 3, and now this. I hope the next game Treyarch makes will not be another WWII game, or else I probably will not end up buying it.
