Won't play online

So, I've had this game since it was released and have yet to play it online, all you'll get is an error 1 or 5 code. It's not my internet, it's the game/servers.(Google it, this is going on all across the county) Seems like everytime a new COD comes out, there's problem after problem with the online gaming (or lack there of)
