||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was actually quite a fan of Infinite Warfare and I found it to be a pleasant change in the Call of Duty series, but at times I must admit that it did miss a certain something. Thankfully Call of Duty: WWII brings that certain something back to the series and I must admit that this is one of the best Call of Duty’s I’ve played in years.

Back to basics

Loved the maps and how well they played with the amount of people. Guns were good; loved the incendiary shells with the shotgun. Play was smooth and enjoyable. Needs some work, but it's the beta, so it's expected. Excited to play the full game.

Not what I expected

I feel like they are trying to hard now that they lost a big part of there fans due to the past 2 cods being futuristic. The multiplayer is a joke and the spawn points are horrible. If you want to be spawn killed every 2 seconds this is the game for you.
