Okay so this game allows you to play as Americans who get to go to war against "insert the name of the group in ww2 that America was fighting since the review system sees it as a bad word" and I don't care anymore it's cod you know what your getting

Having dried the well that is future warfare, the COD goes back to its roots in hopes to milk that cow, as well. Up until recently, the single player campaign storyline would draw you in. However, it’s looking more and more that having a strong story is being thrown by the way side in favor of a multiplayer mode that rips off MMOs, and the same old gunplay with really nothing new to add. There’s going to be hardcore fans that will hate on this review, I’m sure; you’re just in denial that you’ve been playing the same game over and over for the last few years, minus the wall jumping and space guns. But hey, the graphics look good, especially on the Xbox One X, so it at least has that going for it.

Love the classic style warfare. Game arrived sooner than first estimated. Would recommend.

This is easily the best Call of Duty in years. While I enjoyed the first few forays into Modern Warfare and Black Ops, eventually the games became too over the top for me. I really enjoyed the WWII "roots" of Call of Duty, and this game returns to them. The story is interesting, and the multiplayer is fun and deep.

I was one of the individuals who enjoyed Infinite Warfare, however, I also acknowledge that the franchise needed a major change to shake up the formula. This boots to the ground game is just that. It's almost a return to it's roots, but think of this as old school COD meets it's now iconic blockbuster set pieces.

A nice throwback to the earlier Call of Duty games, this one delivers an excellent campaign and multiplayer experience.

Coming off of War in outer space, I’m so glad COD went back to its roots! Graphics, gripping story, gameplay, missions, etc. are all top-notch!

This is by far the best Call of Duty they have released in several years. The gameplay has kept me entertained and casually coming back for more when time permits. If you liked older versions of this franchise then this is the one to buy.

I didn't start playing this series until world at war but this game brought me back to why I fell in love with the game all over again. I was going to abandon this series completely until this game cereal out. It's perfect. Buy Buy Buy!

They finally got it right after a few stumbles. Great campaign and great multiplayer. They need to stick to WW2 or WW1. No more future stuff
