bought a generic ink cartridge which ran out fast, so I got a canon ink cartridge this time

It is a great inkjet cartridge. Great quality and works really well. I recommend it for sure.

These black refills provide extra capacitiy to extend the life of the color cartridges.

You don't really have much choice when it comes to ink, but the xl size is definitely better. 50 dollars for both to me is still a lot for ink.
