Tried the generic, cheap cartridges, but they either did not work at all or failed quickly. Name-brand is expensive, but at least they work.

Had my Cannon for at least 10 years and it requires this ink. Always easy and reliable. I'm getting to old to throw away something that the only issue is getting old.

It took 3 tries to get the printer to accept the cartridge, then it finally did (2 days). Later on that week my Lenovo was hacked and frozen (my fault for believing it was Paypal fraud alert and I called the 800 # for Monarch Shipping)! Living in very fraudulent times. I got a man locally who has a business of troubleshooting computers and he had my Lenovo back in 3 days for $100. Been a tough time for an 80 yr old woman alone! I have learned a difficult and $$ lesson and now that is to delete everything that indicates I purchased something I didn't as it has similarly happened again and I deleted it!

No fuss. No mess to replace cartridge in printer.!

It's an ink cartridge. Lasted a while. Still worked even after not using the printer for a while. thought it would have been dried up. Nope!

Works as expected. Have bought for less on Amazon but they turned out to be old and had problems, streaking etc.

I have been using Canon ink since I purchased my printer from Best Buy. The replacement ink has always worked fine and would not consider using another ink. Would recommend this to everyone.

For a dated printer, it is easy to instal although a little expensive. compared to others.
