I use Canon cartridges but at times use less costly compatible cartridges without problems..

Happy to have found the XL item. Hopefully it will save me an extra visit to the store.

You don't really have much choice when it comes to ink, but the xl size is definitely better. 50 dollars for both to me is still a lot for ink.

I use this ink because it's recommended with my printer. It sometimes leaks and leaves heavy globs of ink on my paper.
