I bought my printer as a black Friday item at a really good price and stills runs very well. However, I have noticed the ink required is getting more difficult to locate. Thank goodness for Best Buy in always having % off and free shipping.

Buy factory cartridges

I've tried cheaper versions, but they didn't work well or for long. Like the adage says, you get what you pay for, and that holds true for printer cartridges. Having a birthday reward made me feel like I got a good deal.

One of the better ink cartridge series out there

If you're lucky enough to own one of the older canon Pixma M-series printers, these ink cartridges are among the best. They produce crisp vivid smudge free pages and photos. However, you will go through 2 to 3 PG-220 ink tanks before replacing 1 color tank on average.
